Well, Jeremy and I have just came back from the Cayman Islands and we had a wonderful time. It was great hanging out with my brother and the diving was pretty good also. As some of you may know, I went to the Bahamas for about a week. It was not a vacation though. I was working. We took a research boat, the Coral Reef II to the Bahamas to search for something called submarine hardgrounds. These are cemented areas of sediment that are important to facilitate coral and Stromatolite growth. Hey Everyone, I haven't been on this blog in a long time, but I got an e-mail from them and it reminded me about it. Things have been great in Miami. I have already done some diving, been to the Dominican Republic for field work, and been getting my appartment all set up. Also, I leave on a research cruise to the Bahamas a week from today. Well it has been an amazing 3 months but all great things must come to an end. I would encourage anyone with the means and time to explore the world. It is not always easy or cheap, but I have memorizes that will last a life time. Anyways, I hope you enjoy more of these pictures. Alex and I had a lot of fun in Amsterdam. So we have finally arrived in Slovenia. That's right, Alex and I (although I did all the driving) have gone by car from Dubrovnik all the way to Postojna, Slovenia. The drive along the coast of Croatia was very beautiful. We had the opportunity to stop in various random towns and cities and really see what the country is like. Well I am currently on Brac Island, in the Adriatic sea. Things are going well for Alex and I after many adventures. It has only been a few days since my last posting but it feels like it has been a long time. The bus from Kotor to Dubrovnik was awful. It was completely full and we ended up having to sit on the floor for half the trip. The bus got in nearly 4 hours late. Greetings from the newest country in the world. After finally getting a haircut from a women that does not speak language I decided to get online to try and get a car rental for Alex and my travel in Croatia. While we really enjoyed Belgrade, it was time to move on. The train from Belgrade to Bar, Montenegro was long but very pretty.
