Diving in KL
Ran across your blog while Googling scuba diving in KL. I'll be ther in mid-April and since I'm PADI open water certified, I want to dive while I'm there. Your report on Tioman Island sounds interesting. Any recommendations on dive operators to go with? How far is Tioman Ialsnd from KL?

Fab piccies
I love Uluru in the different light. I'm guessing you did the decent thing and didn't climb up it. A walk around this area beats any walk in rain at Easter at home eh?

Happy memories...
Dave Your photos reminded me of our trip up to said same beach at Cape Trib, you must have seen the Cassawary signs at the road side which were amusing! Amazing shots of you diving - pretty cool you managed to do that in the Barrier Reef. Looking forward to the next update....

Great
Hey, Dave! Yea, you're right, I'm currently residing in Hong Kong, and I tell ya, the weather is really cold!! But it doesn't last too long. I usually go watch the 8pm Light and sound show, and it's great and I've never felt bored. I guess because no matter if I go there everyday, there's always people clapping afterwards when it's over which helps me not take that show for granted. But I don't think you noticed that it's not only the Hong Kong side that displays the light show, but also the TST harbour - Star ferry (most probably where you were). Anyways, hope you had a blast! By the way, you definately should have gone to The Big Buddha!

diving on Tioman
Hi. I used a dive operator called Fisherman Divers when I was on Tioman Island, they were pretty good. It's about 5 or 6 hours to the coast from KL I think and then it's about another 25mins on a boat to get to Tioman.
