| 1st December 2007 Dannyk | RE: PS2? - From: Sihanoukville Firstly, it was a hostel. I was backpacking and couldn't afford hotels. Secondly, you posted your comment twice on my page. And finally, when you've been away for the best part of a year, something that reminds you of home is occasionally a good thing. The reference to the Playstation is supposed to be satirical. This blog is mainly written for friends and family that know me and can relate to what I've written about, and hopefully a reminder for me in years to come. I've also included information for fellow travellers that I would have found useful if I'd read it before I got there. I didn't spend hours of my life writing it so that some idiot would miss the point completely, but then again, you are American. If you don't like what you read, then why have you continued to read more of my blogs? |
| 25th November 2007 Classic Punk | PS2? - From: Sihanoukville Wow. Only westerners would go to a Cambodian beach resort and worry about video games in the hotel. Did the beaches full of young women not interest you? Geez. |
| 18th October 2007 Classic Punk | Not Offended - From: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) >>>It even praises 2 or 3 VC guerrilla soldiers who killed American soldiers by calling them 'American Killer Heroes'! If I was an American in the audience, I'd be very offended. Don't worry, we're not offended. We (the US) were in their country, killing THEM, after all. Eye for an eye. |

| 6th April 2007 Dannyk | Hey Liz - From: Airlie Beach Hi Liz, Am in Surfers' Paradise at the moment, quite different from anywhere I've been so far. Loads and loads of widely spaced apartment blocks, kind of like skyscrapers and a night scene that would rival that of the Greek islands. Beach is massive but waves r quite small, so not a haven for surfers this time of year. Sorry I haven't rung yet, will do soon. Have collected a few postcards for you too. x Dan |
| 4th April 2007 Liz | Easter Hols - From: Airlie Beach Hey DB. Each time i read your updates I get goosebumps. You sound to be havig the time of your life!!!! Keep safe. Good luck diving with sharks!! Liz xx |
| 23rd March 2007 Brian | - From: Down Under in Cairns Hi Dan It's great to read and follow your progress. Can't remember when u said you'd be in Bangkok, but we heard last week that Nicky has got her UK visa, so she'll be coming over here at the end of April. By the look of your route doesn't look like u'll be there until much later. Looking forward to next installment Cheers |
