Well a nice surprise for the End of March (besides the MC election) was the fact that i was invited again to facilitate a working group in Lijot Forum, this time the topic was inter cultural education. I had a one day session with 10 youth organizations and developed a project that hopefully will be put in practice in 2009. The forum took place in "Kernavele" (i am not sure if this is the spelling) but it was a nice place near a lake in the first capital city of Lithuania. Well. The 2nd baltic conference just passed and again i was there as facilitator or in this case agenda manager. The conference was organized by AIESEC in Kaunas and in my perspective it was a success. Well i guess i have to make a short update of what is going on with my life, as in the last months i was most of the time out of time. Starting with the beginning of March i am working in a company as HR assistant, and i get to travel a lot in between Kaunas and Vilnius, i have to wake up at 5:30 or 6 every day and i make about 200 Km/day by car...i am not driving. This is only my small observation concerning formal leadership. Working for AIESEC in the last 4 years was the greatest experience that i have had, but during the last year i met some very interesting situations in conferences that i have been and i would like to stop on one. In October i had a short notice (3 hours before) training on leadership, now what happened is that i had a room with 80 various people from 9-10 countries but all connected by AIESEC, most of them with leadership positions in the organization. So, in my AIESEC Career i had the opportunity to chair the "Global Village" of Euroco...how could i say no? Euroco 2007 was organized by AIESEC in Vilnius, and because i mentioned AIESEC Vilnius... Congratz guys and Girls you have done a great job... At the End of October i end up in Estonia for Energy 2007, it is for the first time when i am taking part in a conference organized by 3 countries and i can say it was a great feeling trying to figure out where delegates are from only by listening to their Language. Well it was also hard because the Lithuanian Delegation was making a lot of Noise. Well i had doubts about writing this entry or not as i am still having problems in being away from Canada. Yes, it was one year ago !!!! the day i arrived in Canada and started the self discovery journey that brought me to Lithuania.
