This has nothing to do with traveling seeing new places or meeting new cultures this is a picture of how Romania looks in my mind somehow..Friday afternoon after coming back from work and seeing some apartments i went http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Estonia/Tartu/blog-426905.html First free weekend...i am on fire And here it comes the first weekend out of the city. Well i went out with AIESEC for a transition party EB to EB. The idea was simple one night out with 30 people bbq sauna and fun The new EB starts the term and the res http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Estonia/Tartu/blog-407123.html Tartu Estonia...The beginning of a new story Some of you already know some other don't but at this point i started a new chapter in my life Tartu Estonia. Well yea i know it is a s http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Estonia/Tartu/blog-401463.html Integrating...Romania for some time At this point i am feeling my reverse culture shock and it is not comfortable at all . I am at the anger stage and i really get pissed very easy. But i will not talk about that i will tell you a few words about my last month and a half in Romania show you some pictures and tell you about the decision made for this year. So in the last month i managed to travel a bit for some conferences http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Romania/Muntenia/Arges/PITESTI/blog-366626.html Purpose of life travel stay build play Most of us come to the point where we need to take decisions that will influence us for the rest of our life it starts with small ones what mobile operator should i chose where should i go this summer should i buy this car or this car and at one point it gets to WHAT'S NEXT For a person that spent the last years traveling being away from home the question that applies is should i http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Romania/Muntenia/Arges/PITESTI/blog-358341.html MC team days pictures video and fun... Now following the new trends in AIESEC in Lithuania MC officially opened the teambuilding season with an unforgettable session in Andzelika's place 2 KM away from Bulgaria and all other countries starting with B like Budapest Berlin and Beer according to Deny 2 KM away from Belarus according to the map. Location EXCELLENTEeee...Andzelika's cabin in the country side enough space to http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-336556.html People...Sweet memories. . The summer is over. In the last month loads of things changed in my life especially the people structure around me people coming and people leaving meeting new people and making new friends and in the same time missing some others. In the last month people returned from different countries in the world and people left. But the most interesting thing is that most of us were out of Lithuania a http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-326771.html Summer Camp As i was telling you i spent my last month in a place called Druskininkai. south of Lithuania very close to the Belorussian border sometimes our phones were telling us that we are in Belarus..So one month there i was spending my time having a working vacation after one full year so i was there as camp instructor and English teacher. The best part out of it is that i had a lot of fun i http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/Trakai/Druskininskai/blog-310272.html Romania in my mind... 3 months have passed since i last posted....i don't know where they went it seems that time just passes...without even notice. Well here's what happened In the last months i have been in Romania and i returned to Vilnius just a bit over a month ago. In Romania i had some great time taking 32 Exams and finally finishing my university....well this was the main reason of going to Romania i wil http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-310267.html Update ....my life Well i guess i have to make a short update of what is going on with my life as in the last months i was most of the time out of time. Starting with the beginning of March i am working in a company as HR assistant and i get to travel a lot in between Kaunas and Vilnius i have to wake up at 530 or 6 every day and i make about 200 Kmday by car...i am not driving. During the last week my healt http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-262080.html Synergy. Files of February and March Well. The 2nd baltic conference just passed and again i was there as facilitator or in this case agenda manager. The conference was organized by AIESEC in Kaunas and in my perspective it was a success. In between work being a bit ill and some white nights this conference was a real energy buster and in the same time energy eater....i kept my energy during the conference but after it i was like http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Kaunas/blog-262074.html Lijot meetingFiles of February and March Well a nice surprise for the End of March besides the MC election was the fact that i was invited again to facilitate a working group in Lijot Forum this time the topic was inter cultural education. I had a one day session with 10 youth organizations and developed a project that hopefully will be put in practice in 2009. The forum took place in Kernavele i am not sure if this is the spell http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/blog-262070.html Files of February and March Latvia again In the beginning of February i decided to participate as facilitator at Natcon 2008 Latvia Well it was a decision made in the last moment as usually and i ended up in a bus on My way to Riga again but this time with two persons i consider close to me and i like to work with Laura and Ieva from Vilnius. In four hours we were in Riga and few hours later we were somewhere on the seaside where http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Latvia/Kurzeme-Region/Ventspils/blog-262060.html I am a leader...what do i do now This is only my small observation concerning formal leadership. Working for AIESEC in the last 4 years was the greatest experience that i have had but during the last year i met some very interesting situations in conferences that i have been and i would like to stop on one. In October i had a short notice 3 hours before training on leadership now what happened is that i had a room with 80 http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-236236.html "Conservative Leadership" vs "Creative Leadership" I was having this thoughts the other days about how people lead other people and about the kind of leaders i met during the last 34 months. Most leaders that i have seen lately are afraid to step out of their comfort zone they tend to play safe and see where the road takes them in stead of making at least small risks that could bring so much more. Now observing these in the last months m http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-236222.html Riga hill of crosses and My bday Well here I am again my first post on the blog at the age of 24. What happened since my last posthellipmany things I had a trip to Siauliai 200 Km West from Vilnius I went to Riga to Chair and facilitate the CPS there and I had a party weekend in Vilnius.Letrsquos take them one by one and in order. First to remember moment was Discover 2007 for AIESEC in Vilnius nice conf http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-217643.html Chairing Euroco 2007 So in my AIESEC Career i had the opportunity to chair the Global Village of Euroco...how could i say no Euroco 2007 was organized by AIESEC in Vilnius and because i mentioned AIESEC Vilnius... Congratz guys and Girls you have done a great job... So the External Global Village took part in Europa shopping Center a modern MOL in the center of Vilnius The pictures will tell you a lot about http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-217652.html Energy 2007 Estonia At the End of October i end up in Estonia for Energy 2007 it is for the first time when i am taking part in a conference organized by 3 countries and i can say it was a great feeling trying to figure out where delegates are from only by listening to their Language. Well it was also hard because the Lithuanian Delegation was making a lot of Noise. AIESEC Vilnius cleaned the house taking all the po http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Estonia/Tartu/blog-217659.html ONE YEAR Canada Well i had doubts about writing this entry or not as i am still having problems in being away from Canada. Yes it was one year ago the day i arrived in Canada and started the self discovery journey that brought me to Lithuania. One year ago i was arriving on Calgary international airport full of excitement and with high targets for the future. Evaluating my last year i can say it was ful http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Lithuania/Vilnius/blog-199678.html
