I landed in Barcelona at about 2pm. it was a bit of a shock to the system as i definitely couldn¢¥t understand any Spanish so i was reduced to sign language and pointing to words i had written down. I caught the aerobus to the metro station and then the train to pretty much right out the front of the hostel. the hostel is a nice change to the one in Paris. it is a lot cheaper and there are a lot of people around that speak english! yay! Okay, when I left you yesterday i was footsore and a little drained at only 5pm! i headed back to my room for a rest. i read my book for a while and ended up falling asleep for a few hours. i awoke at 8 to someone trying to get into the room. i got up and let the lady in. she was french adn a nurse here for a conference. a nice lady, and a nice change from the bitchy latino girls in my dorm. after my sleep i decided that it was too late to venture to the Louvre [View Full Entry]

Okay, so my second day in Paris was a big one. The sleep was relatively good except a few things but they had nothing to do withe quality of MIJE Fauconnier (which is the hostel). i was woken up at 12.30 by two italian or spanish girls accusing me of sleeping in their bed! i was pretty sure that i wasn't as when i had checked in i was told that i was in bed 5 and that was the bed i was lying in! so i clearly stated that to the girls and promptly rolled over and went back to [View Full Entry]

So I have arrived in Paris. the train trip here was relatively easy. i arrived at Schiphol about 1 hours earlier than i had to but hey that is me. i would rather be really early than late! I spent the time on the train reading and writing in my journal. i can't believe i am out of Delft. it was a bit of a shock to the system i must admit but now that i am here i am thrilled.
