You also must have gone through Winchester on your way down - hope you waved at our house (which is pretty close to the station). It sounds like you are having a ball. Hope we can catch up by phone once you are done with your Easter break. Love from us all x |

| 5th April 2009 Peter Daniels | - From: Spring concerts and a 40th birthday That sure was a wonderful experience singing at St. Luke's Church. I really like the cover Dominic designed too. How many choirs competed? Do the English place a higher emphasis on choirs than band or orchestra? Do most children take private instrument lessons outside of school too? |

| 17th January 2009 Cynthia Rolfe | So glad you're settled in - From: Getting set up in London... Pam and Mark: I hope you got my text about the Italian restaruant. Zianni's is the place that was my absolute favorite when I live din London. Try the lemon scented pasta with lamb. The owenrs are very welcoming and warm. The best pub in your area (same as mine was) in the Pheeny Arms which is near Oakley I think...it is the major road that goes across the Thames just west of the Battersea Bridge. If the washer defeats you take sheets and towels to the laundry as I did. The combo washer-dryer did not work for large things. There is a square (triangle really) just north of the Kings Road between the McDonalds and the Waitrose that has a laundress, a fish monger and iron monger (hardware store) and has many things you won't find elsewhere in pricey, posh Chelsea. We miss you! |
| 8th January 2009 Caroline Daniels | Hello! - From: Getting set up in London... Wow!! The uniform really does look cute on Elena! I can't wait to hear more about London!! |
| 8th January 2009 Grandma Ann | Elena's Uniform - From: Getting set up in London... Elena's new uniform hat and coat is just the cutest thing I've ever seen! She looks like a proper English young lady now. Does she wear it out for recess? It looks a little formal for play!!! |
| 7th January 2009 Daniels Family Travelers | We wish you could be here too! - From: Ready to leave for the UK.... I think you would be inspired as a writer to be in Chelsea! The British LOVE to read. When I ride the Tube to work, everyone reads novels on the train instead of reading emails like in the US! Thanks for watching our blog! |

| 7th January 2009 Ann Daniels | Weather in London! - From: Ready to leave for the UK.... It's cold, dreary, rainy, snowy, slippery, blustery, and yucky here in Wisconsin. What is it like in London in January? Does the sun shine occasionally? Does it rain everyday? I'll bet it's better than Waukesha, WI!!!! |
