Catch Up
Well Dani, you will certainly have a year full of photos and I hope a year full of memories so I do hope that your memory is somewhat better than your old Ma's! Seriously it looks and sounds like this project has been a good decision on your part and I do hope that you continue to have fun, lots of lovely experiences and that by the time you read this England are also on their way to victory again (!!). Well we can live in hope I guess. Enjoy the job and take care. Lots of love and hugs. Pam and all xxx

Another great Blog
Hi Dani, Thanks for the update. Good to have the official report on everything! Having just come back from a weekend camping and feeling very inferior with our little tent it was nice to see someone with an even smaller tent! Sounds like you had fun on your road trip. Can't believe I've never been to a casino now. Not even the kiddies section anywhere. I'm still addicted to the shuffle slot machines. Blackjack sounds very grown up. Have equally never surfed, have always thought it was harder than it looked though, had worked that one out for myself. Probably wouldn't have the strength now. (very old and decrepit as I am) Have you any more exciting adventures planned or is it just work work work now. Missing you loads. Lots of Love and a big hug. Emma. Ps I want a plane like yours!

I'm missing Pippa too!
Wow what an action packed few weeks with Pippa - you seem as though you've had a ball. You were in Sydney at the same time of year jeremy and I were there doing all the same things, the three sisters, steepest railway, manly beach. It bought back so many memories. Its a great city isn't it. I love your blogs and photos and you look absolutely beautiful - the trip is obviously serving you well despite the lack of sleep and considerable consumption of alcohol! What will the next stage involve....Love you POP. ps Annabel has completed her Padi open water exam she got 98%! just needs to do the referal dives and then she can join you.....

Skydive
Your skydiving photos are awesome Dani! They make my flight off the mountain look like a walk in the park! I missed out on the freefall and the absolute terror of jumping and also stayed in an upright position the whole time, so I guess my way is good for oldies. :-) I'd also like to thank grandad for his geology lesson, which is fascinating stuff and to you and nan for the geography lessons. Keep up the blogging. It's really exciting to hear your adventures. Lots of love, Aunty Sarah xxx

Stromatolites
Hi Danielle, I'm so pleased you'r having a good time. It is good to read about your travels. You really do have a natural talent for writing them up in a most interesting way. Stromatolites in Shark Bay, Australia, are about 2800million years old----even older than Grandad! They consist of alternate layers of fossils from blue-green algae and limestone. Blue-green algae were the first forms of life to leave fossils and, as I'm sure you know, limestone is formed mainly from fossils containing calcium carbonate. Take care and enjoy, as ever, Grandad.

Wow
Your description of your travels is really something. I think you should go in for journalism as you have a way with words. It is really bringing Australia to life and I am enjoying your holiday along with you. Especially as I have been to some of those places. Carry on with your blogs although I will not be around for a few weeks to read them but look forward to catching up when I arrive home. at the end of April. Carry on having a superb time Lots of love Nan

Finally!
Hi Dani, finally worked out how to keep up with you, and have just read all your 5 entries at once. Am now booking my ticket and coming out to join you. (I wish) It sounds fantastic. Your discriptions of everything make me feel as though I'm there with you. The diving is sooo exciting, and I'm so thrilled you're doing it. I remember my first open water dive off the coast of Wales in freezing cold water whilst it was pouring with rain and the same as you zero visability. We just went down the rope stayed there for as long as we needed for the dive to count and then came up again. Not inspiring! The dives since tho' are still etched in my mind and it is a truly fantastic and humbling thing to do. Don't give us too much detail about it all otherwise we will go mad ( if not already) with jealousy! I think you probably know but Annabel is also scheduled to take her junior PADi course after easter, so when we keep talking about holidays she (and everyone else) want to come out and dive with you. How cool would that be! Annabel has also been missing you loads and has decided not to cut her hair until you return as an act of how much she loves and misses you! Now I've learnt how to read, keep blogging. We think of you all the time and wishing you the best experiences ever. Lots of Love. Aunty E.x et al. xxx

Spring - whats that?
As everything grinds to a halt due to the snow, I imagine everything grinds to a halt due to the heat. Which is best? At least I'm getting some spring cleaning under way, like cupboard cleaning . No golf, no Scrabble, no shopping, luncheon dates cancelled, but at least the freezer is full, so I won't starve. Enjoy the sun whilst you can Dani Lots of love Nan
