Our first stop in California was back in Fresno to unpack say bye to some of Phoenix' family and friends and then of course repack. Pretty much we've http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/District-of-Columbia/Washington/blog-365833.html Hiking in Andrew Molera Park This past Sunday we both had off of work in time to head out on a small road trip to do some hiking. We didn't know at first that it would turn into a hiking adventure and we especially didn't know it would turn into such a mental and physical excursion We just had a general idea that we wanted to go hang around some nature and trees and that we have heard so much about Big Sur. So Sunday after http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/California/Big-Sur/blog-351297.html Amma Hugs This week held a brief but intense trip up to San Ramon to visit Amma the Hugging Saint. We caught wind of her being in the area through our Costa Rica contact who is a volunteer at the Ashram that Amma goes to when she visits the area. We planned on waking up early Monday morning and driving the hour and a half to the Ashram. It was perfect timing really we missed the morning commuter traffic http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/California/blog-349457.html Road trip to Oregon and Back The past week and a half has been full of adventure beauty manifestation and travel. The original plan was to stay in Arcata for the week to spend time with friends as well as to make some money at least enough to make up for the precious days taken off of work in Santa Cruz. But as is consistent with my life right now the Universe had much more exciting and enlightening plans for me After http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Oregon/Ashland/blog-346357.html Earth Dance Festival Last weekend we had an adventure to Laytonville California to go to Earth Dance. Earth Dance is a big festival that basically plays music for three days straight. You camp out next to your car and then walk into the woods for the festival. We staked out a spot and had about 5 tents in a little village with a canopy that was pretty essential it was really hot during the days. I haven't been since Rainbow and it struck me pretty strong. So I delivered whatever drinks I had in my hand and set out to find Phoenix who also works there to tell her. I only had to walk a few steps which was perfect and told her I want to go. She immediately said YES Lets go tomorrow which was the absolute best http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/California/Santa-Cruz/blog-324993.html Minitrip to the Redwoods Spontaneity is the key to that feeling of freedom me thinksThis past Sunday the lady Phoenix and I decided to road trip with our friends Annette and Azza back to Arcata increasing our magical time spent with them aphond also avoiding a long hitchhike back for them which I'm sure they would have loved honestly. So from Santa Cruz to Arcata we went.
