Hi,
I would love to find a place where one could play with lion cubs all day, not restricted to any time limit. I live in Jhb, South africa. do you know of any places in or around Jhb?
Thank you
Natasha
contact info I am currently a student studying to rehabilitate large cats back into the wild, and I am trying to find some contact information for the lion breeding facility in antelope park so i can get a permenant position. if anyone has a number or an email that would be greatly appreciated, i can't seem to find any online.
Hello Hey, I used to live in Gweru, I know what an amazing place it is. The opportunities with the wildlife at Antelope Park is amazing. I used to play and feed the lion cubs regulary but I guess those ones have grown up by now. I live in New Zealand now though. In my mind to truely get the Zimbabwean experience you gotta live there for a while, but its great that people all over the world can get those experiences and Im really glad that the goverment hasn't ruined that bit of the country yet and hopefully never will!
HEY!! Itsn't it amazing to be able to interact with some of God's most beautiful animals like that!? I've been to Zim 3 times and an planning on living there next summer. I have pictures with some of those same lions. If the kcub you have a picture of is the same from this summer, the three of them are huge and 25 mos. old now.
Neat. God Bless
Nice Pics! My brother and I lived partly with my grandparents on Antelope Park. In my time none of the camps or facilities were there ... my grandfather actually built those camps. The lion breeding programme was still in its early stages. Exciting stuff!
Srinagar - 2005 Hi, last summer a friend and i booked 5 nights accommodation on a houseboat in Srinagar, via a Tourist Information in Dehli. The busride up the mountains were scary and exhausting - finally, after nearly 25houres we arrived Srinagar. From the arrival there was great pressure on us from the organizer/ovner of the boat(can't remember his name) to book us up on ekspensive trips. We booked some of them, and were very satisfyed with the trekking and the boat trip with the Shikara on dal lake. The armed soliders every 100m in town, also was kind of uncomfortable. As a summery it was nice to be there, but even nicer to fly out.
mkoba gweru is definitely not all about lions. you must have seen a little bit of mkoba on your way to antelope park. i live in new zealand and would have loved a glimpse of my old mkoba
Fantastic Place Hello,
I visited Antelope Park a couple of years ago. It was the first place in Africa I went to and is still the best!!!
I got to bottle feed one of the cubs and went walking with three 14 month old lions (just about big enough to start picking off the old and infirm visitors).
I also went on an elephant ride where the elephants ran into the lake and swam for ages. Also a fantastic and unforgettable experience!
Really glad to see your website as it would be a shame for people to stop visiting this park because of the Zimbabwean politics - particularly as the 4 weeks I spent in Zimbabwe I saw no trouble whatsoever!
Enjoy the rest of your travels if you're still out there,
Cara.

Cruising in Anjuna Anjuna is an ideal spot to touch base with one's inner space. Guru Bar the sun set, the flea markets, the trance parties, etc all add flavor to life. Vagator is even better. Try out renting a house or a room and staying there. There is lot of space for inner growth, meditation and relaxation.
Lucky enough to get laid off and took 6 months in Asia, then 3 in Africa. Planning to do it all again in September - but this time one year in Asia and then on to Central and South America.
