I found a computer!! Europe » France » Centre
Hey all, finding a computer to use has been a challenge. I thought internet cafes would be on many blocks if not towns for sure, but unfortunately not. So here I am. back in Paris. Italy was the biggest surprise in that I not only got my document that I was wanting but met and was entertained by several relatives. It was a moment I hadn't really allowed myself to think was possible. I had many of my questions answered by members of my own family and was asked over and over when I was moving back to Italy so we [View Full Entry]

wow, I'm here Europe » France
This has been the coolest thing. Our flight was ok, long but not awful. Some of the flight attendants were French and some were American, some of the passengers were seated in a French section and some were in an English speaking section. We discovered that our seats were not together so my husband asked a young man if he'd trade with me and he did cheerfully. That was our first interaction with a French person. And honestly every person and we've talked with or been around many now, they are all very nice. What's this I have been told about [View Full Entry]

tomorrow we fly Europe » France » Centre
Well, said my "see ya laters" and returned messages, checked on the details of everyone's accounts, tried to change my phone message and was too rushed to focus to left a note to ask Peggy to do it for me. So if you leave a message for me, don't be thinkin' (havin a sarah palin moment) you've got the wrong number! Well, like I say in class, the best skill of all in my opinion in Wise Mind because I have to think about what I need, not too much, leave enough room to bring home keepsakes and also some of [View Full Entry]

One more week Europe » France » Upper Normandie » Rouen
Ooookay, one more week to go and we'll be on our way. Skills at this time are One-thing in the Moment and Focus on what works. At this time it means to get clear about what I am taking and make it as streamlined as possible. No over-packing. Did that when we went to Ireland several years ago. What a mistake but of course since I'd never traveled in the British Isles before, or anywhere that far out of the country, that had so many stairs connected to trains, planes and everything. Seems the trains are all built underground in London [View Full Entry]
