Well after my first real weekend in Valencia, I can now say I’ve been in the Mediterranean Sea and to the beach in January J The weekends start early for me here as we have no Friday class, so I spent my Friday running some errands. Well as you can tell, I'm all safe and settled in Valencia, Spain. Hope you're ready for a long email . . . Saturday January 15, 2005 As part of an introduction to Spain, I went with the entire Spanish program here on a short bus tour of Valencia and then spent the afternoon climbing to the top of an old castle located in a town 45 minutes away from Valencia called Xątiva. We made our way through tiny streets to the mountain road up to the castle.
