Hello everyone! Just a quick message to say I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that you have a great New Year! Quick update form me, Australia is all booked and ready to go so I fly out there on the 28th January to Sydney before heading to Canberra for a couple of months! I’ve been re-employed by my old company so for those of you who I used to work with you might be getting an email or two from me in the Australian office! Then I’ll be trecking up the East Coast and hopefully fitting in some surf lessons along the way! Wellington to Christchurch Oops I was a bit delayed in getting this uploaded! So where did we leave it, ah yeah leaving Wellington… Another week, another mad bus ride with the Kiwi Experience :o) Ok this time it was all about the South Island and our trip was as follows: Wellington – Kaiteriteri - Westport - Greymouth/The Poo Pub – Franz Josef – Lake Wanaka - Queenstown – Christchurch Kaiteriteri After an early start in Wellington the day after the All Blacks regained their world champion’s status we, hungover, jumped on the ferry for the 3-hour crossing to the South Island. Woohoo I survived my first week! Ok so it's been a bit of crazy week as we have spend most of our time (me, Claire, Emily and Helen) looking for jobs and a houseshare however due to the Rugby everywhere is either too expensive or full so we decided on Friday that we are going to do the Kiwi experience bus tour and we've picked the Funky Chicken package which does both Islands and it's half price this week!! We're catching the bus on Wednesday, it's a minuim of 3 weeks but we said that we might stay longer in some of the bigger towns, like Queenstown, as there's so much to see there!
