| 12th February 2009 golfkat | Thanks for the memories and great photos - From: Scrum Half: Abel Tasman & Queenstown, Mt. Cook & Milford Sound You really brought back to me how much we loved Queenstown and Milford. We flew over to Milford to save time, and flew over Mt Cook and many glaciers. Next trip will have a little more time there. Aren't the wines reasonable and pretty good? We also loved the fish, and the flat white coffee in the morning. |

| 9th December 2008 Christie Gradin | Winter vacation - From: Swamp Land with a Sandy Shoreline Hey Matt and Isabel - your blog came just in time - I was wondering where I should be headed for my winter vacation once the freezing, cold, snowy SK gets to me ; ) Those pics are terrific as usual and it was great to hear your thoughts on one island vs the other. Any plans to come to Canada to our 'fresh' winter weather? There is always room for you both here!! Or if you don't make it all the way to SK, you know I am always up for meeting in cow town. Stay cool ; ) |
| 8th December 2008 Patrick O'Connor | - From: Swamp Land with a Sandy Shoreline Excellent read I thought, I would have liked to have heard more of your thoughts Matt on the immigration position, however as i recall you being a man who doesn't mix his words, maybe being reserved in this case is for the best. Cheers Paddy |

| 8th October 2007 Kevin and Laurie | Baby butts - From: Great Cruise - No Li Hello, My girlfriend and I are currently spending the year teaching English in China. We are Americans but hopefully engraining ourselves into the culture a little better than your tour counterparts. We've enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your blogs...in fact they are helping us plan for our future trips! Real quick: wanted to commend the shot of the baby's bottom. We are amused by the slit phenomenon and the indiscriminate public urination. We have been trying to get a shot like that for over a month, but not sure it would top that. Kudos on the rest of your photos as well and the writing! Best of luck, Kevin and Laurie in China |

| 6th May 2007 Mysha | Beautiful Morocco - From: Fez Tastick Hi Guys I have been following your blogs for 2 months and I absolutely love your photos and blogs about the places you have been too! I recently went to Morocco (Marakesh - Travelblog: Mysha) and loved my time there! Unfortunately didn't get to go any further! Thanks for the recommendation (to all readers) about Dar Safferine because I am definately going to book that Riad when I return to Morocco! You definately have given me ideas (time wise) of where and how to travel around without planes (eco friendly). Happy travelling and keep up the great blogs!!! All the best, Shabana |
| 29th April 2007 Dave Joynt | Nicely Done - From: The Wild West Matt and Isabel. It's been a treat hearing all about your fantastic journey. Looking forward to hopefully seeing you soon and of course hearing how you're adapting to life back in the fast lane... I.E. reality!!! Oh and I definitely like the idea of a yearly Bermuda reunion... Saskatoon... here I come! |
| 25th April 2007 Christie | The drive - From: The Wild West The drive to Calgary was well worth it....especially since it wasn't on a little scooter or waiting in an airport for hours. It was great to see the both of you and I, as well as the rest of the group. I look forward to the next mini-Bermuda BBQ. Perhaps I can host next time!?!?! Hmmmm....how many would trek to Saskatoon for the party?? I promise we would BBQ in the summer when it is warm. |

| 14th April 2007 Larkin | - From: Aloha: Island Hoping Always comforting to hear that the U.S. is keeping it's borders tight and secure. Apparently you haven't gotten a close look at the Statue of Liberty - it clearly states in small print on the tablet she's holding "Canadians Keep Out". We don't want Canadians bringing their 'apathetic' personalities & second class citizen attitudes to our shores, which merely adds to all the other garbage that has seen fit to mooch off our prosperity and turn America into a welfare state. *I'll be publishing more of my insights and rants in a website this fall. What have they done at Waikiki Beach? In one of your pictures it looks like they've run some sort of artificial barrier about 200 yards out. Are they trying to stop the beach erosion? Probably a good idea since when we were there in 2005 there wasn't much beach and it was only going to get worse. You should have gone to Mauna Kea when you were on the Big Island. Great experience. |
| 14th April 2007 Rob & Monika | home - From: Aloha: Island Hoping Hey, great stories, and if you should be passing through the Okanagen on your way from Calgary, please give us an email, and you are more than welcome to stay here for a few days. cheers Monika |

| 22nd March 2007 Stephen Paul | Nothing Compares to Whistler! - From: Scrum Half: Abel Tasman & Queenstown, Mt. Cook & Milford Sound To Whistler! Especially in the southern hemisphere. Except maybe the Chilean/Argentinian Resorts- like Las Lenas(arg) or Valle Nevado(chile)- but those are much more northerly and dry to compare to Whistler, Bariloche or NZ. Anyways! GREAT PICS! Great BLOG! Loved it all. I found Tekapo and the area around Twizel quite nice however. Desolate, yes- but there's something magical in the silence of the open spaces near Tekapo and Pukaki, the part of New Zealand with the most days of sunshine and in the rain shadow of the Southern Alps, but all the glory of a lanscape scoured by ancient glaciers. Thanks For Posting!! Look forward to your Hawaii blogs... |
| 22nd March 2007 jaxw17 | enjoyed - From: Scrum Half: Abel Tasman & Queenstown, Mt. Cook & Milford Sound Good photos....saves me the fare of going ! |
