North Pole
I can imagine an empty expanse of white.... Congratulations. I'll bet the joys of this experience will be with you for sometime. Phenomenal !!!!

Wow!!!
You must be the only Travelblogger to ever reach the North Pole. Your insights about walking around the world in a couple steps, and everything in history having occurred south of your position were unique. Thanks so much for sharing!

North
I have always been a fan of the north. It was a truly amazing trip. I am still on a high.

Happy salt lakes
The salt lakes in northern Argentina are awesome - and much less visited than the giant salt lake of Bolivia just to the north. Welcome to Travel Blog and thanks for the comments.

Chinnies at Hydrurga Rocks

The Chinnies
Hydrurga Rocks were a magical set of rocks. I am a fan of the Chinstraps due to their feisty attitudes. Definitely lots of action among the chinstraps.

Whales the might whales
Whales are amazing creatures and we never tire of seeing them. When we plan our trip to Antarctica we will ask you for recommendations. Thinking of early 2019. Love the adorable penguins.

I was holding very tight
There is a reason why rollercoasters only last a few minutes. It was quite the storm!

Waiting at St Andrew's

Waiting has its merits
Just tootling around the shoreline as I waited to shuttle folks back to the ship. It was such a nice day, no body wanted a ride. Great! I could've hung around all day.

Fluctuating Equilibrium
Once again and outstanding blog. Thanks for taking us along. As you say mother nature can be brutal. Love all the photos!

Totally brutal
Blood and guts, bones and feathers are scattered all over the beaches and carcasses are floating in the sea. It is not slim pickings in South Georgia. There are not enough scavengers to clean up. Amazing scenes and smells! Thanks again for coming along.

Fur Seal

South Georgia
When John Milton wrote "Paradise Lost" he obviously had not ventured to South Georgia, Dave...had not been washing machined and hung out to dry riding the wild storms of the Southern Atlantic like you. 'Cos if he had been as brave or mad as you he would have renamed his poem...and put some of your stunning pics to enjoy it by.

Paradise Found
I think John Milton would have titled his book 'Paradise Found' if he'd been to SG. A truly epic wildlife spectacle! We definitely had our share of rough sea days on this voyage though.

My favorite quote about weather comes from Norway...
"There is no bad weather; only bad clothing choices."

Nice Quote
Poor clothing indeed! I have learned that if it is not made of rubber it is not waterproof... Or so it would seem. Thanks for following along.
