Day 10 Up at 9 AGAIN for breakfast which we thought was free but was slyly charged at the end and i dont even like eggs.. Day 9 Budapest - Miskolc I am fucking knackered this whole carrying my life on my back is starting to take its toll and i reckon im gna need knee replacements and while there at it hips as well there getting a bit creeky.. Starting Mileage 90,000 Up early for our 10:00 AM ferry to Dunkerkque, set off around half 6 but didn't get far before having to pull over as the sheet holding everything on the roof started to come off so leaving us having to drive a slow pace the whole way to Dover.. Eventually arrived and boarded the ferry which was alright,average ferry horrible breakfast which wasn't helped when i tried the black pudding (smelt like pure ass).. Change of Direction... After a freezing cold shower in the hostel and a continental breakfast we made our way back to the station to hopefully get a train to Germany.. On arriving we soon realised that that wasn't how this was going to play out.. And so we picked Zurich Switzerland.. Train left at 10:46 so a nice early one and a bit more expensive than the last.. Not The Day We Planned... Staring Mileage 90,142 Woke up to the pouring rain which couldn't be worse when camping, so quickly packed up and left for Ghent, not a long drive from Brugge we arrived around 2, easily parked and took a walk around.. A very similar place to Brugge but not as tourist orientated.. Had a nice lunch in the square and decided to move onto Bruxelles and the Beer Museum.. RIP Mitch After a rough night in the car it looked like the garage had finally opened as someone pulled in.. Everything seems to be finally coming together, I’ve just finished my course of jabs, got my expensive malaria tablets and are on the way to insuring our beast of a car!! The china tour is coming along nicely although our China part has extended by 5 days so far as no doubt more parts of the trip will.. Got a Car!! After searching for a few weeks Autotrader finally came through and I found the perfect car, it's a 1995 Mitsubishi Shogun with low mileage in a metallic green colour.. We've named it Mitch!! Also with the car bought I was able to book the ferry and can confirm the date of departure is 1st September at 10:00am.. Looking for the Pefect Car!! We started by just browsing on the internet Autotrader the usual, and came up with loads of different kinds of 4x4's so thought YES the one thing that's going to be relatively easy!! The Jabs Today i had the first of my many jabs that will get through the trip alive.. Awaiting me in the nurses office was a pile of information into all the jabs i would be getting over the next 10 weeks!! On top the word Rabies ha ha.. Today i just got all my boosters updated so Tetnus and MMR, one in each arm, GREAT!! I now have two dead arms but was quite relieved that they weren't going in my bum, YAY!!
