I'm Nancy from Kent in the UK, 20 years old. Currently working in an office in London, which i've now done for 18 months, before i was a waitress, bar maid, and kitchen fitter!!

Planning a trip from London to Sydney with a work colleague, Pete and Adele who we found on the internet!! Starting on the 1st September 2008 we hope to be in Sydney for Christmas..

We have chosen to take the route up and over opting out of going through Iraq instead taking the colder route over Russia!! We've estimated that it will take us 80 days..

First of many Jabs

The Jabs Today i had the first of my many jabs that will get through the trip alive.. Awaiting me in the nurses office was a pile of information into all the jabs i would be getting over the next 10 weeks!! On top the word Rabies ha ha.. Today i just got all my boosters updated so Tetnus and MMR, one in each arm, GREAT!! I now have two dead arms but was quite relieved that they weren't going in my bum, YAY!! First entry of the blog!! Planning 117 days until we leave and we have no car, no visas, no money, and only a rough sketch of the route!! We have come up against barriers whilst trying to plan, visas are getting trickier the more we look into them and noone seems to have any information, which is rather annoying!!
