Easter Parades Another fascinating blog! How lovely to read about Easter being celebrated in such a wonderful way. The pictures created in the sawdust were amazing. Have a great time in Honduras, hope you get some good diving.
Paradise Hi guys, wow the desciption and photos of the San Blas Islands make it sound and look like paradise. Poor Tracey, 30 hours of hell, I do feel for you. The facts on the Panama Canal were fascinating - what a brilliant piece of engineering. As usual, this and your last few blogs, have been amazing. Keep `em coming. Lots of love, Penny
News On Colombia Hi John
Not only do I reccommend Colombia but we have been travelling for a year and a half and Colombia is one of the best countries we have been to. REALLY nice people, cheap and beautiful. We were travelling as 1 guy and 2 girls and we never once felt in danger, even in Bogota. I felt more nervous in Brazi that I ever did im Colombia. The guns and drugs are a thing of the past. Go there now before it is spoiled by tourism in 10 years.
David
Hi guys. I'm in Brasil at the moment and planning on going to Colombia with some friends. Some of hem are afraid of going but they insist it is suicidal to set foot in Colombia.
Do you recommend the country and how is the safety situation there,
Thanks for the info.
John
A long and good journey Hi Tracey and Dave, your journey is amazing. I hope one day to do something like this. It was a pleasure know you in Bonito.
You are a very cool couple. See you in the way....
Kisses, Paulo and Betania.
Piranhas! What an informative blog! The snorkelling in Bonito must have been out of this world, and Tracey you are either brave or mad to have gone swimming with the piranhas and caimen! It really sounds as if you have had the most amazing experiences in Brasil. I know I say it in practically every comment from me, but, Wow! Thanks once again for letting us share it all with you. Lots of love, Penny
Fabulous photos Once again fabulous descriptions of where you visited! The glacier El Perito Moreno sounds breathtaking, I loved the photo with the boat so we could see the scale. Also loved the photos of the penguins on Martillo Island. What a privilege to be able to get so close. What a wonderful vantage point to see the sealions. It would have driven me mad with all your criss-crossing of borders - I look forward to looking at both of your passports when you get home. Hope you manage to save some space in yours until the very end of your trip Dave! Have a great time in Uruguay. Much love Penny
Thanks for letting us into NASA's secret! Wow Valley of the Moon sounds wonderful, and your trip and interview with Alain must have been fascinating (hope you get your article published Tracey). Your Domo-esque hotel sounds intriguing - I have never slept inside a golf ball! You must have felt sick to lose your camera again, but well done you for taking out the chip, all your photos have been great. What wonderful memories of a very different Christmas and New Year. Lots of love, Penny
Terrifying! Hi guys, wow another great blog, but rather you than me travelling down the Death Road! You are either very brave or mad! Being surrounded by all that brilliant white salt must have been very surreal, and I loved the photos taken there! As usual, some wonderful descriptions and very interesting historical facts. Lots of love to you both, and have a wonderful Christmas wherever you happen to be.
Catch the Thief! You poor things! How dreadful to lose your camera with what I am sure would have been superb photos. But your descriptions are, as usual, wonderful. And I love your drawings. Fascinating to read where the actual Equator really is! At least you will save other travellers the expense of going into the fake area. Your climb using the crampons etc. sounds exhausting, and terribly debilitating, but I am sure the stunning views made it all worthwhile. Looking forward to the next blog! With my love, Penny
Yay Chiang Mai Hi guys - glad you made it to Chiang Mai - spent a week there at the start of last year and loved it (have never been to Bangkok by the way) and even had cooking classes at the same cooking school lol (good ay!)...
Bruises, Bombs & Buckets of Booze Another fabulous and informative blog. I certainly knew nothing about the secret bombing of Laos or of the Cave City - fascinating! Ouch Dave your back looks sore and Tracey your photos of lao lao say everything - who needs words!?
Lots of love to you both
Fabulous Hi Tracey and David. We just loved your blog. Now we are in Luang Prabang and we have just had a "snip" of it. When we arrive in Portugal, we shell look at it more carefully and send you your photografs. Sorry about the mistakes, writing is a litlle bit worst.
Your Portuguese friends
The Tigers were drugged!! Not sure if you can see but there is photographic evidence those tigers are drugged...the tiger Dave is standing next to has the end of a hashish pipe sticking out from under his pawpit (like an arm pit but tigers dont have arms do they smarty pants!)..not to mention that tiger clearly has a coke habit...just check out the size of those nostrils (worse than Tara PT)...also I reckon I can almost see a couple panda's and a leopard heating up the knives on a bunsen burner in the background. You be the judge
Your comments on the Bridge over the River Kwai and Hellfire Pass were so vivid. We have all heard stories of the horrors the POW's went through but it certainly makes it more real when you read your descriptions. Your points on the tigers are fascinating, and very thought provoking. I am sorry your trip to Bangkok and Thailand in general was not such a happy experience. Belated birthday wishes Dave. Lots of love to you both
I love Ritchie! Once again another brilliantly descriptive blog! What a character Ritchie is! You are so brave to wander off the beaten track and usual tourist places, but it is so obviously worthwhile, as you are discovering the `real' people in these amazing places. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Till the next one ...... lots of love
WOW! Oh my god, how jealous am I of your travels?!?!?!?! So many beautiful places and amazing memories.
Stunning, missing you in England, but I bet youre not missing it...

Dragon hunting Well you certainly found your dragons! And buffalo! Scary stuff. Once again a fabulous blog. Thank you for the tip about clicking on the photos to make them bigger, when your eyesight is like mine it is great to see so much more detail! Dave you look good in a skirt! The time you are taking with your blogs and photos is brilliant, thank you for enabling us to be part of your amazing journey. Lots of love to you both.
Wow - again! Another fabulous blog, with brilliant descriptions and photographs. Bali must have been magical, and from looking at the photo at sunrise you must have felt on top of the world.
Loved your photo raising a glass to Tony.
Keep blogging! Lots of love to you both, Penny
