CorkGurl - CorkGurl

CorkGurl After 4 years with my Company in Cork, Ireland, it has sadly ceased operations and moved their manufacturing to China....so to turn a negitive experience into a positive one myself and my friend Karen are heading off on a round the world adventure to live it up for a year or so! After the goodbye drinks of course... Thanks to those of you who saw me off in style over the weekend....had a great time...and let me say it was one hell of a party...thanks guys& gals!

Mexico, Central and South America, New Zealand, Oz, Bali, Singapore, Thailand and hopefully Vietnam.

Looking forward to living on tropical beaches, meeting new people, trying the local food, exploring other countries and cultures....not getting up at 7am for work or getting stuck in traffic at rush hour on the way home!!

As they say... It's not the destination it's the journey...........& The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step

One life..Live it

SAPA for the weekend! A market town and a the main meeting place for local tribes who come to trade every weekend. Some excellent handicrafts can be got here and for watching the passing parade of people. Colorful tunics of the Dao and Giay people mix with the black and blue clothing and silver ornamentation of the Black Hmong tribe, while bright red scarves cover the heads of the Red Hmong who carry large woven baskets on their backs brimming with goods. Definitely one not to miss while in Vietnam Not enough words for this fascinating place...really beautiful, the scenery was [View Full Entry]
