What Career to Chose Next. Hi Clare, - Dad speaking,
So many career opportunities glad to hear that you are keeping your options open, what will next week turn up, I think rice planting is on the up in that neck of the world, I always fancied being an astronaut 'cos I heard that the salaries were out of this world but that's never going to be.
Then there is also food tasting, travel brochure writing or even re-write S.E. Asia on a shoe string or should that be a flip flop thong and not to forget the plumbing thing or even plastering.
Have to go, have exhausted creative energies must have a lie down.
Dad (specialist in careers advice and most other things, very reasonable rates, just a few million Dongs)
hi my dad works with your dad and told me you were traveling then my dad reminded me of who you are when we came to your barbeque that time and then you sold us some guinie pigs and i couldnt believe it !!!!! amy
Saving money I see you have inherited my negotiation skills, sadly you have also inherited by clothes, shoe and food fetish!! Love the ideas for future career moves, can see definate advantages in yo not becoming a barrister in the uk..i.e FREE holidays around the world to whichever country you are "saving " that year. Go for it !!xxx
twice a day! hey clare!!
glad to hear you're having fun. Im liking the regular updates - u should publish a diary at the end!! But the most important reason of my writing is to remind you to brush twice a day!!
keep your burn nice and dry! Fancy burning your leg on a hot exhaust! not only are you a lightweight miss clare but it also seems that you need a course in riding pilion passenger! Remember to keep your legs tucked in - its easy (well it is when you've rode as many "bikes" as me!!) Keep the installments coming. I've spent all morning watching Ewan McGregor going round the world on his bike then reading about your exploits - starting to get itchy feet of my own!!
Pools lost 2-1 on sat and drew 3-3 on the BH mon. not playing very well at the mo but think we'll soon turn it around and defo have enough in the tank to beat Notts forest later in the season. My Dad sets of for portugal on Sunday so it seems i'll be the only one left in Hartlepool shortly, don't worry, when i leave, i'll turn off the lights.
Get your tan sorted and start mixing vodka with your sugary lemon drinks!!
Take care
Stephen

League One banter! Glad to hear your still having fun - take up the Blue Mountains offer! My aunt goes on holiday there and reckons it's great - about the only place in Australia you'll get snow. Hey, I know your basking in glorious weather at the minute, but you'll miss the snow... really...
Take care!
P.S.You'll be please to know that Forest have been doing crap in League One, although we finally hit form against Gillingham. which puts us on level points with you! Going to persuade my mate to come and see us play Pools on 15th October, although on current form I'm not sure that's a good idea....
James Bond?! I'm convinced that some of those picture on the coast of a location from 'The Man with the Golden Gun'! I'm convinced Christopher Lee had his base on one of those. Keep enjoying yourself!
How exciting! Hi Clare
Sorry I haven't written anything before, just got back from hols so have spent this morning catching up on your travels! Sounds amazing!
Take care and look forward to hearing more.
Love Louise xxx

food food & more food Well Clare in your true, inimitable fashion you are eating your way around the world!!.Bet you haven't found anywhere that does cheese chips and garlic yet though...maybe this is a unique opportunity for you to open up a franchise!!
Small Editorial Correction. Hi Clare
Just for the record can we please clarify that the Matiz was a sophisticated Metallic Bronze as opposed to ''Orange'' what will people think.
How is Hue or are you in transit again ?
Speak later - Dad.
not missing you Reading your log means we almost feel we are there with you, rain and humidity mean your tan washes off. Am saving one of next doors pidgeons for your return will freeze today. Keep enjoying it, Love from us.
Hello Hi Clare, your travel log is great to read. I hope you are ok. It sounds like you are having an amazing time. Itried to sent an email to you the other day, I hope you received it. I have just sat Competion Law and JP. Only one to go now, the totally dreaded Land Law. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. Lots of love Tash. xxx
Thanx Hi Clare,
Just want to say thanx for your journals. You are doing a great job. The photography is top notch, as is the text. Maybe you should rethink your career. Could it be hello Allanah Whicker? You certainly have packed a lot into the short time since you left home. This could turn into a best seller. Paul Theroux made a lot of money out of a lot less!!Take care.
After all the road crossing drunk in Manchester, you should have at least had SOME mild practice at suicidal road crossing! Keep enjoying yourself, and have fun.
Hey Hey Clare, Good to hear you are having a great time-it's good to hear about what you are doing and to get an insight into what it is like out there. Take care of yourself and keep on having fun xx
Get some bloody barwork done! I don't know - you travel half way around the world and all you've done is check out the sights!! I think you should knuckle down young girl and get a bar job instead of enjoying yourself! speaking of different cultures Clare, you'll be pleased to know that that backwards tribe from Darlington came to Pools on tuesday night and got beat 3 -1 at some ancient pastime called "Football" - don't think it will catch on. Seriously, i'm reading all your blogs and really enjoying them. can we have a little Gofton's corner that tells us about all the different alcoholic beverages you get drunk on and give them marks out of 10!
Take care - keep enjoyin'
Gof.

Comment on my Coments. Well I sent two ''comments'' and whilst it says that there are two there, I don't see them. Also whilst sending this it has already kicked me out once. Is it me ? If they haven't worked why am I doing this again ? Hope train journey was good and rain is easing.
EMail tomorrow, more reliable, possibly!
Good Night
Dad (Dark now, but dry, possible slight dampness tomorrow but more likely to be Sunny, hardlines) (Have just been down to the Nursery this evening with John and Martin and proved we are definitely the Biz)
The Plug. It's not good enough, the plug thing that is. Please return said article by return post, with exact details of where when and how it failed to meet the ''Universal'' criteria and I will see that the manufacturers are made aware of their grossly exagerarated claims.
Oh, by the way everything looks good, have a nice time.
Possible EMail tomorrow, and why has my first comment not come up ?
Dad (18:30 and still sunny and zero rain)
Some small observations. Clare,
What with water puppets, persistent rain, a bay with lots of water and then the universal plug people may think you have an H2O thing. I didn't guarantee worldwide universal plug, at best just Hartlepool and the environs, but good lateral thinking.
Have you considered Plumbing !
Dad (@ home in nice Sunny garden, zero rain.)
anti jippage all the way impressed with your anti jippage mentality - just look after yourself tho!! take care! and never speak about becoming veggie again!!
So glad to see you're having a great time, such a shame about the rain though. So brave of you to get on that ferry in the storm! Anyway, I'll keep reading, good luck with the next stage xxx
Travels the world and eats...cheesecake. Already on the cheesecake? It's only been 4 days! And pigeon sounds lovely...you can have all the pigeons in the world once you get back - my mother would love to see them out of our garden ;-p Toodle Pip - glad to see you're having fun xx
I graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2005 having completed a 3 year Law degree. I had a great time being a student, but it made me realise that there is more to life than becoming a professional... so I thought a year off after Uni would be an ideal time to see a bit of the world, before I had to grow up and get a proper job! I had an amazing time thanks to many of the amazing people I met along the way.
There came a time, when professional studies were over, I HAD to get a proper job. This was fun, but only for 18months or so... before I set off on another adventure to We... full info
