Hello! Hi Clarebear! Sounds like a very interesting experience you're having out there!! Have been enjoying your updates and pictures! Glad to hear that you are enjoying cake out there in African style too. Did you see anything of the Kilamanjaro climb on BBC for comic relief, I was thinking of you. Hope it all goes well for the rest of your stay. When you get home we HAVE to catch up. love Helen xx
Baggy Pants ! 3 points to comment on - 1) Ironing undies -I can't belive you could physically iron some of your undies - well not unless you've bought some Bridget Jones' whilst out there! 2) Bum and hips - like your looks you get them from me ! - 3)The Special one - Baggy pants again but still looking stylish - If all else fails on your return then you can do one of the following - 1) set up an ironing service 2) Run master classes in how to impersonate a police (wo)man and get away with it .3) In light of the credit crunch run workshops on how to make any old garment look stylish - with a piece of old rope and a hair clip !
Big Millies!! Hey, just randomly reading blogs and I am so excited to see an entry on Big Milly's. It was one of the highlights of my time in Ghana (fall 2006). I definitely met and bought several pairs of earrings from that crazy American lady. I'm glad to know she is still out there. Was the delicious Italian place still there? I hope so, and if you didn't go this time, you absolutely must. The Beach Rastas are really nice and friendly, overall. The cool ones keep the obnoxious ones away. I think this just made my day!
The big green monster Not that I'm green with envy or anything Clare but the pictures of the beach look fab maybe I could get one of those beach shacks and sell crafts! As usual a very entertaining blog so far. Just one question why bother with the tights? Everyday here still an adventure living life to the max working hard but not eating anything as exotic as you, just a thought you could write the travellers guide to food around the world. Pleased to hear you are getting lots of work done. Just thought Id mention it, having a new shower installed this week you can check it out when you return see if its up to standard. Hayley not here at the moment but she will be in touch soon working hard at the moment for A levels Drama exam coming up soon-so no worries there! She and Gav have called it a day so she's free and single again. I've been a Mother again and told her not to bother with boys ---- at least until after her exams but you know Hayley! Keeptaking the pictures and dont forget to send a postcard to Barnaby Bear! love and hugs A.Anne xxx
That sauce must have been spicy. as soon as I read it my heart burn kicked in :s And what do you mean he wouldn't want to be your brother :( you big meenie XD
Yo Don't mind your wife, chop bar - I think that if you are not exactly seeing eye to eye with your wife it is a place you can take her to chop her up?? Just a thought, p.s. who is 'supa lube' who keeps writing on your blog - I am intrigued. fxx
Hey! Thanks for your note Pauline :o)
Hope you don't mind me bombarding you with updates again!
Look forward to catching up with you all when I'm back in the UK in May.
Love, Clare x

I graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2005 having completed a 3 year Law degree. I had a great time being a student, but it made me realise that there is more to life than becoming a professional... so I thought a year off after Uni would be an ideal time to see a bit of the world, before I had to grow up and get a proper job! I had an amazing time thanks to many of the amazing people I met along the way.
There came a time, when professional studies were over, I HAD to get a proper job. This was fun, but only for 18months or so... before I set off on another adventure to We... full info
