| 30th June 2008 Anita | - From: Germany to Slovenia via Switzerland and Italy I know exactly what you mean about getting over China and getting used to Europe - I keep giving way to cars even at pedestrian crossings and forget to put my seat-belt on! Am enjoying the brown bread and cheese in particular. Anyway, greetings from Venice! Anita |

Anyways, enjoy gods country while it lasts. When you are in Vancouver, give me a ring as a i stay at the Samesun on Granville when not on the road with Moose. Cheers |

| 21st January 2008 Eleanor | - From: Flying squirrels, Christmas and home time Ohh it's all so pretty and those flying squirrels are gorgeous too...why are they so endangered? | 21st January 2008 Michelle Carson | Cooking here in Mastervegas - From: Flying squirrels, Christmas and home time Hi Cielle, currently is 22 deg at 8.30am. We've been experiencing 30+ temps these past few days. Heading for Gold Coast on Sat for 16 days - cant wait. Sadly we lost Catriona Robertson on Friday (work forced her out in the end). She's going to be the Retirement Commissioners head Comms person (GW really cant compete)! Keep the blogs coming, and keep safe. |
| 21st January 2008 Andrea | ice skating video - From: Flying squirrels, Christmas and home time maybe Elisa could upload the video onto YouTube so we could all share in the laughs! |

| 8th October 2007 Greg | FPP - From: Over in the East Yes, Canada does use FPP - although interestingly Canada has largely escaped Duverger's Law (that makes FPP create a two-party system) - although a number of provinces (including Ontario) are looking at changing to other systems. Sounds like you are having a good time. What's the difference between a teabag and the All Blacks? The teabag stays in the cup longer! What's the difference between Graham Henry and viagra? At least Viagra gives you a semi! |
| 7th October 2007 Mum | cute furry No 11 - From: Over in the East Ohh ... cute furry no 11 just gets my vote - is that raccoon? and the cheese and gravy with chips all piled up together? sounds ghastly. Just for your info you should know that you may not get many responses from any kiwi male for a wee while, most of them are in the depths of despair. For the next few days women have to carry the day here... the weather has also packed a sad along with the men - its not raining cats and dogs more like whales and elephants. Anyway on with your journeys East Canada sounds lovely. mum |

| 28th May 2007 Michelle Carson | - From: Vancouver to Whistler Hi Ceille Doesn't even sound like WORK is in your vocab anymore. It's -2 here this morning so I feel like I'm in Canada even though I'm not. Not much going on here, Dave left for Aussie on Sunday but failed to say goodbye before he left; rumour flying round here is that Scott Forbes has been managed out of his job and GW are currently looking at restructuring BioWorks. Wayne's been put in charge of it for the time being. Tim B finishes here this Friday and strangely enough Murray is involved in his leaving doo (must be capable of doing it for some but not others ah). Anyway enough, sounds like your having an amazing time over there. Glad you've put the socks, and scarf to good use already. Please keep in touch. Happy travels Michelle |
| 21st May 2007 Mel R | Hey! - From: Vancouver Hey Cielle! Good to hear you made it there! Vancouver is such a gorgeous city! The squirrels cracked me up as well - and the Americans and Canadians looked at me strange for taking photos of them. The squirrels are pretty well trained, and would run up to me with their hands out for food......so cute! Have fun and take care! :-) |
| 21st May 2007 Eleanor | awww - From: Vancouver awww cute squirrel...I'd like to see some more:-) I guess the next step is to find a hockey team to support...eh? |

| 15th May 2007 Catherine | Ke Ora from Kiwi Land - From: Vancouver I'm envious already. - Snow capped mountains, Beaches, Stanley Park-complete with its wildlife, and local culture.... What a great start to your journey. I'm glad to hear you are galantly protecting Emily from the squirrels. :) So good to hear from you and keep having fun Ka Kite Ano Catherine |
| 13th May 2007 Alison | you have arrived - From: Vancouver Seems like all the technology is working and so did the ticket to Seattle! So that is a few qualms put to rest. I hope you spent the american dollars on lunch in San Fransico. Stanley Park is lovely, I thought the totems were fabulous too. That is where I saw the raccoons roaming around. I had contemplated walking from there to Gastown but hesitated but I am sure you can do it but not so certain about how long it would take. If you enjoyed the totems you would probably enjoy the ones at the UBC museum too. But lots more to see. I suppose there is still a lot of snow around as it is only May. I also presume it is going to take a while to get the bank account and tax stuff organised. Lots on your mind but you are making rapid progress on all fronts. We had the usual sort of weekend out for dinner with the Kaisars and the Whitefords (Sue was sick) and a walk with Dan and Liz on Sunday. I went around for a walk around Oriental Bay and Roseneath on Saturday while your dad went running. Beautiful days here. It was specially lovely hearing from you. I guess that was the highlight of the weekend. We are off to Christchurch on Thursday to check out Andrea and the wedding plans. Till next time take care and enjoy yourself. love mum |
