Well bloggers I arrived in Boston yesterday and took a rest, I think I needed it, I'd forgotten that I'm not 21!!!! Today I took a taxi to "Wonderland" - don't know why it's called that, it's a train station. Then a train into "The Aquarium"...that's another station! At least they were easy to remember and far easier than Manhattan or Brooklyn. I then had a scrumptious lunch in an Irish bar served by a young Irish girl...it was lobster! I still can't understand why everything has to be served with bread, needless to say I didn't eat the bread, they ought to give it to the starving people of Africa as it's a complete waste. Hi Everyone Well, let's go back a few days....to last Sunday to be precise. I went to Chew Magna and took Bet out for lunch to the Pony and Trap, we used to go there when Sarah was a little girl so that was about 33 years or more ago. The Sunday roast was the best I can remember having anywhere, it was to die for so I have booked to go again when Kate and I go up to Bristol for Christmas on 20th December. Monday I visited Mike and Pat Lockett and Mike has kindly offered to pick me up from Temple Meads station on my return and take me to Whitchurch to pick up my car so I can drive straight home to Pz. Hi everyone I am now in Bristol. The bunfight was a great success on Saturday apart from the fact that Abbots Leigh has no mobile signal which was very frustrating as we couldn't use our dongles. Well, I'm almost there. I've shut up shop today, sorted out a few more things. This evening, Katie, came and did my nail extensions so I'm starting to look glamerous. Friday morning I'm off to the hairdresser to have my hair cut and my red highlights put in...then I will be ready to drive to Bristol. I've got a new mobile number which is cheap for travelling 0447509164653 - hopefully it will work, I haven't registered it yet. Another day passes. Will I ever be ready for this lengthy trip? I still have a few items to print out and put in my folder. Instructions to give the housekeeper and I've suddenly remembered the Brooklyn Historical Society still haven't answered my emails, it's just so frustrating. Some members of the Bristol and District list have yet to give me their order for food on Saturday. The garden needs a tidy up but there's still time. In 5 days time I will be on my way.
