pink skirt I'm sure you look great in the pink wrap-around, Chun! David Beckham - beat that... :-)
and I'm glad to see that Shabana is now posing like a super-model!
lots of love from you both from grey and drizzly London Town xx
Errr...I think I'm a bit dumb...But I looked at your map, and I don't understand it. I realise now there are two worlds in it: they are both flat actually. That doesn't help. So I eventually found Europe twice, then Asia twice, that kind of thing. But I assume you have it all figured out dear boy.
long time ago Hi Chun and Shabana,
This is mighty long ago that we have seen eachother.
Almost 2 years ago in that great hotel in India.
According to the pictures you guys have had a great
trip like me. You are now safe and sound in England
again. I am back in Amsterdam.
Have a good day and take care, and hope to be in touch
agian.

It's a hard life sounds amazing. i'm thoroughly jealous. The snorkling round here isn't half as good. All I've spotted under my desk are a load of cable worms and a couple of dave's feet. -jerry
intermissions How I envy your cinema experience in india, Oh the sweet smell of the hotdog seller and the heady cry of "drinks and snacks are available at the foyer" just as the film is getting good. You are in denial of the good old days chunka mayhaps you need to purchase some rose tinted specs on your travels. From Andalucious Fremener (chairman of the Society for Reintroduction of Cinema Intermissions and Flock Wallpaper).
Diversity I am all for diversity, the national anthem was different and acceptable, but stopping the film halfway through to get people to buy more popcorn is not diversity. Its annoying.
Diversity Pal-travel should make you more tolerant of diversity - about the mobile phones - Kick the guy- quite agree with that. With the rest- go with the flow - it can be fun if you want it to be;-)
Amazed at mountain effort Difficult to think of anywhere flatter than Walthamstow so I'm totally amazed that the two of you even contemplated going up a mountain except by train! Still, your antecedents are good - grandfather to the top of Skafell Pike (where that?) and mother over the Kleine and Grosse Scheidegg with, repeat, with pack on back and hobnailed boots.
The pix. are wonderful and how clever of you to donwload them. You can almost feel the crystal air.
Keep blogging.
Food I would have to say the northern Indian food as been ok. Some stuff is better back home whether that is due to what we are used to, or the general cheapness of food here which means they shortcut the spices sometimes. The samosas to say the least are better back home. But we have had some nice curries and maybe the south will wow us.
Trial and error I tried to send you a message but i tink i failed. Anyway have a great time, Kevin is jealous and want to join you.
Lots of love Kevin and Aurelia
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE UK I cannot understand why anyone would wish to go off to places with uncertain "arrangements" particularly in view of the likelihood of rapid rushes to same. Bear in mind that the chain came off at my first pull in Istanubul and that's not quite so far away).
As my BB I shall not have a quite moment until your return.
But I've embarrassed you enough already. I hope you both have a "journey of a lifetime" and don't lose anything, unlike others we know of.
Please don't bring me anything back of a copper or brass nature as I can't keep up with what I've already got. All I want is both of you back safe and sound.
And what IS wrong with the UK? Wonderful, photographically superb places to visit and most people speak Hackney English (Arse-nul,Isli-un and "airy" not to mention bo-ul that your uncle frequently mentions).
By the way, it's Kwala LUMPUR, not Lumper. I thought you spelling was better than Andrea's!
Love,
Mum
Here we go again, on our last jaunt around town Shabana caught the travel bug, so instead of a 2 week honeymoon we are going on a 7 month trip. Some more bits of Asia we missed last time, and then onwards around the world, fitting in as many of the best beaches in the world as we can manage.
