Wow some amazing pictures. Sounds like a trip for the young. Lynn and I were out shopping today and found 3 Christmas dog toys (the ones they all like) for Morgan, Mak and Toby. We are planning to go back to Toronto on Friday. Ian was over for dinner yesterday (Anna was working). Anna is apparently feeling better. I can't remember if you know or not but I accompanied Lynn to Ottawa as Neil has he get ready for the trial week this week and start the new trial next Monday. Hopefully it provides some success. Hope the weather has improved. Just to tell you when we were in China we travelled a lot with a group from Lima. We called them the Lima Ladies and they were a travel presence. I am sure that most of the folks in China knew them as they bought out the stores. You might see some of them even if you don't know who they are. Enjoy. Love, ML

Hi and how are you. Wow what a trip. I am here at Brian and Linda's and we had a excellent Christmas. Judy and Frank and Michael and France came Christmas day and we had a lovely day. Rita is not well and she has given her ring to your Mom for me. It was hilarious when she and Rita were talking a couple of days ago and Mom was having difficulty with her hearing aids and Rita said that once they got to the other side if the equipment wasn't better then they would just turn around and come back. I thought it was funny. It is freezing rain right now and we are supposed to go to Gerry and Teresa's however I think it is doubtful. THink of you often and miss you, Love ML

Hey guys!! We've been following your blog and the places you have gone to so far look pretty amazing...nice and sunny and warm...well..different story here...we had our first snow storm of 20cm yesterday and it sucks, so make sure to soak up some sun for us!! I had a lovely time with Mak. He is such a lovely dog. I think he is very intelligent and I wished I could provide more stimulation for him. I think he would be very easily trained to do those animal sporting events. Anyway I really enjoyed having the time with him. I was ready to shoot Morgan last night as she was up twice after we went to bed. Hope your trip is going well. Hugs to Rach, Love,ML

The pictures are great! I really like the Wild West one of the horses running. What a great shot! Sounds like you guys are having an amazing time so far. I'm sure it will continue. Vicarious adventures
Dear Charles and Rachel, I am sitting here watching the Olympics and messaging you on my new baby laptop that Michael and Andrew and Frank gave me for Christmas. France and her mother purchased the software to give me wireless internet and I am in business. I have watched/read your blog and I have enjoyed it immensely. You both write really well and the pictures are spectacular. I think it is great that you are making this trip while you are still young enough to enjoy yourselves in spite of a few uncomfortable situations.
