Met Marjolein's mother who had made salad rolls for lunch. Had a chat exchanged some gifts and then had some homemade cake YUMThen her father piled us all in the van and took us sightseeing. DAY 3 Explored the gardens near the Louvre at Tulieries and then visited Museum D'Orsay Le Orangerie that display the wonderful artwork of the impressionist era my favourite I was in heaven works by Manet Degas Renoir Van Gogh everywhere. Rob brought us all a chocolate crepe to share and we headed to the Arc de Triumphe on foot. Had a nice meal at Cafe Kleber. No. 1 daughter is very excited and No. 2 is heading that way but until her last VCE exam is over the holiday is still far from her mind.
