Met Marjolein's mother who had made salad rolls for lunch. Had a chat exchanged some gifts and then had some homemade cake YUMThen her father piled us all in the van and took us sightseeing. Internet access hasn't been easy probably should have brought the laptop. Paris was fabulous. DAY 3 Explored the gardens near the Louvre at Tulieries and then visited Museum D'Orsay Le Orangerie that display the wonderful artwork of the impressionist era my favourite I was in heaven works by Manet Degas Renoir Van Gogh everywhere. Rob brought us all a chocolate crepe to share and we headed to the Arc de Triumphe on foot. Had a nice meal at Cafe Kleber. No. 1 daughter is very excited and No. 2 is heading that way but until her last VCE exam is over the holiday is still far from her mind.
