Pregnancy Announcement Hello Chris & Gigi! I found this on my "archives" & thought it was about the baby, when instead it was part of your wonderful travel blog--hope it brings back memories of "no roads"!
Love, Mary
Vatican Thanks for the postcard!! Aunt Carol & I were in Rome at all of these same places (well except for Sabatini's), so it was a great "trip down memory lane"!!
We read your blog and we laughed until we cried-we miss you! What an amazing trip and story writing-
we love your photos and so glad Chris is a good cockroach killer-can't wait for the pictures
Do you think you will see the Portguese couple at Wrigley?
You sure got lost a lot and it rained a lot but at least you had delicious food! Thank goodness. And Gigi didn't buy any new pants!! I like it that you use the Rick Steves' guidebook and are so organized about your trip, i.e., buying tickets in advance, etc. You sure are smart travelers! And I'm glad you sent the map. I love maps! And it gives me a visual as I travel with you on your blog. I'm enjoying it immensely!
Hi Chris and Gigi:
Was that a Speedo that the guy was wearing?
Sounds like you are trying a lot of exciting food and drink in Italy as well!
Stay well and be careful in Greece.
Have you heard about the strike of workers who run the boats out to the Greek Islands?
Have you heard about Zambrano's suspension after going into a tirade Friday?
We'll catch you up when you get home.
Love, Dad and Mom S.
grumble gumble Looks like you are having a great time. Reading your posts makes me tummy grumble. Can't wait to see all of the photos and video when you get back. Miss you guys! Ciao for now!
no more mussels please What an amazing time you are having-thank goodness you only took carry-ons and not ten pieces of luggage like your mother-thinking about you everyday and so appreciate this blog
Love that Corniglia enoteca Meant to tell you to make sure you hit the Corniglia enoteca as we enjoyed it there and it's a nice break from the hike. Funny that you skipped hiking the two hardest legs of the four. I think the Team Green name may have to stick when you guys get back. Fun stuff - enjoy the rest of the trip.
Nice photos I particularly like your photo of the Fountains of Montjiuic. For a couple of years now, Barcelona has been on my short list of places that I would like to visit. Take care. Dad and Mom
hell0 from your mother What an amazing Italian adventure-this is my first chance to read it since our trip - its so great to see you both everyday-and bring some Gigi pizza home-better yet just bring Gigi home! Miss you both Love Mom
Potato Salad Hi Chris and Gigi;
Back in Chicago and catching up on your blog.
Sounds like you guys are having a great trip!
Hope you had a special anniversary!
I have a craving for garlic potato salad.
Love, Dad and Mom
Barcelona Barcelona is the one place in Spain that I would most like to visit. I'll have to hear what you think. Glad to know that you are well and having a great time. We miss you both. Take care. Dad and Mom and the rest of Blackhawk country.
Here comes the sun! Your trip will now get sunny and warm, I hope. Sounds like you are having a great time and seeing a lot. Very interesting too. Take care. Dad, Mom and Becky
Love the blog! I love reading the blog from my office computer...a few minutes of daydreaming every day. I am starting to crave ham croquettes!
Trip sounds fabulous so far! Sorry to hear it is so cold, I am sure Italy and Greece will be much warmer!?! I look forward to hearing about your trip to Barcelona.
