I've been so lazy
I hope the title sums up how my blogging has been going and thankfully not my trip planning. We ended up taking the kids to S.E.A. as we planned and they had a blast. We actually just got back from Thailand after a 2nd jaunt there. I wanted to get some diving in. I have not logged into travelblog for quite some time as life kinda took over. But I think I'll be back with a bit of a vengeance. I've only got 4 more years before we finalize our year long (maybe longer) trip but in the meantime we need to plan for next year.

Tuk Tuk Tour
Unfortunately they are not available in Canada but there are a few places in the US that have them for sale. They seem to be hard to insure here.

The Care for the Wild report highlights many of the abusive practices at the Tiger Temple: http://www.careforthewild.com/files/TigerTemplereport08_final_v11.pdf There is also a collection of evidence online at http://www.tigertempletruths.org with photos, videos, volunteer and tourist reports - anyone thinking of visiting this place needs to see this first! Also, in your photo of tapirs, you are actually showing wild pigs. They look like this in Thailand :)

Why you choose Thailand
Hi Jason, Just read your travel blog and noticed that you have been to Thailand :) I read a simple post in my blog why most American & European love to visit Thailand. http://backfromtravel.com/2009/07/why-american-or-european-like-thailand/ perhaps you can tell me as why you chose to visit Thailand I just want to know for the sake of WHY Thailand??

ah ya there are always going to be those out there that play that game of 'my life is better than your life'. Kids are fantastic to take traveling, you just have to adjust your game a little. I know as a previous canadian kid who had parents drag me around the world, I benefitted so much from that upbringing. How's the planning going, or did you get going?
