The Ride Home.....then the flight home..... Good blog Greg! It was great to have you along with us "old boys"and finish up what must have been a great 8 months for you and Katy. Half of the stuff you both did I wouldn't have the bottle to do so I take my hat off to you both! I don't think our ride on the Harleys would have been as easy without you. The Sat Nav worked very well with you on the back, riding "bitch" and pointing the way to each stop. We would have been stop, starting all the time so it really worked well. Enjoy your return home before "reality" kicks in, i.e. new job, travel bills, etc, etc.
Great to have you home..............!
Now I know why I worry about you !! all I can say is I'm glad that I heard you arrived safely to meet Dad in New York.... Before I read this.. See you in 6 days woohoo !! xx
farewell hello...cant believe this is probably one of your last blogs as your now on the harley road trip - what a way to end your adventure. im really gonna miss your blogs i like hearing what you have been up to, not impressed there are not many photos but im guessing i will be seeing all of your photos soon enough so i will probably regret saying i want to see photos ;) cannot wait to see you hope you're having a fab time with dad and steve on the harley trip im sure you are....see you in 6 days wahoo ;) x
wow san francisco sounds amazing minus the dodgy street you're a much braver person than me, but then we all know i am a wus!!!!
i bet the drive coming into san fran was amazing with the bridge etc...was it just like all the films with the steep hills. so would not like to park a car on one of those hills. i hope you went on a tram they look so cute on tv. see your making the most of the cheap stuff like back in thailand, bet you cant wait for the harley trip. hope hollywood is cool i await the next installment x
Bravery award..... Hi Greg you should get a bravery award. I wouldn't want to walk through an area like that in daylight let alone at 2 in the morning! Counting down the days until Saturday...............Pa xx
ahh bless you table for one? im sure you will get used to it i suppose your first time on your own gonna be strange, sounds like you had a great time and i cant believe $4 turned into $105 how lucky are you but yes i would probably spend it all again. hope you got some decent pictures id love to go to vegas, enjoy san francisco xxx
No clocks in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Greg
Sounds like you had a ball and won some cash, at least. the hotels are certainly geared up for the gamblers and don't show the time in the casinos so you could be there for a week and not know it! Their buffets are always good especially for someone with your appetite! The thing I remember most about Vegas is stepping off the plan, getting in to the terminal and facing a bank of slots!! They want to get you in the mood as soon as you arrive. Even when you stop at the bars in the hotels they have poker machines embedded in the bar surface. Enjoy San Fransisco.... Love Pa xxx
message from dad when is the book coming out? you both make brilliant authors .We both really enjoy keeping up with the adventure ,good photos as well , nice to see Greg has still got his appetite!katy not like you to get the hump with the locals.I think you need to try and avoid the formula one taxis.Katy did you manage to get a sim card? looking forward to the next entry take care

Just read the whole thing since the jet lagged has worn off.... the vans were fun when me and stu were there... cold sometimes and baby wipe showers are interesting, but all adds to the fun, Mine and Katy's middle of the night toilet trips were my favourite :-) Hope the van in New Zealand is as good guys...
