Met up with the old guys kinda strange seeing my dad for 1st time in 8months Made our way to Liberty HarleyDavidson to get the rental bikes. Big Ultra glide classics. St

Our 2 buses to get to Rio were pretty uneventful apart from a second bus where a team of muay thai fighters obviously very good judging by the size of there trophy got on. Greg almost broke their trophy by reclining his seat luckily for us they must have been tired and moved their trophy to a safer spot. Bus broke down got into Rio pretty late we went straight for a taxi who yet again wanted

Realising how busy the place actually was we dumped our bags at the station 2nd time around and went into town. Seeing as it was our third day attempting portugese we just about managed a McDonalds Well sort of not exactly

As usual we were at the airport far too early for our flight. So after about 4 hours and a safe passage through security we were soon on our 1st plane a journey of 12 hours to Chile. Went surprisingly quickly even after Katy telling Greg in detail how she had dreamt we would die on the plane The creaking overhead compartments and the constant turbulance did not go well with the story.....

AFter our 16 hour fun bus journey we were back in Bangkok for the 3rd time Yay As we had been away from home for 5 weeks we decided to have English Night which obviously would consist of beer football and curry. It soon became apparant we had chosen the wrong day as we had never seen Khao San so quiet and all the beer was locked away But the curry was awesome and we felt the right team won

Destroying 6 bags of crisps that were gross sesame chilli squid seaweed and chicken nugget flavour as there is no salt n vinegar anywhere. Boat ride turned into a seasaw ride as the sea was really rough although this seemed to only aid Katy in her napping. Quick bus journey to the training enjoyed s

After arriving on our boat to the Island we soon realised we weren't at the port Greg had planned on. This resulted in a 200b taxi ride along the coast to where were supposed to be staying. Wondering if we were going to have to get out and push our taxi as the 'hill's were nothing like we'd ever seen before pretty much vertical inclines... Got dropped off in the town of Haad Rin we then had to

Arrived via boat to land on a perfect white sandy beach and the to our equally perfect 5 star hotel set in stunning goonyesque type surroundings. Again the porter looked like he'd lost something so after him showing us how the fridge worked we sent him on his way. Room was awesome I say room more like a mini house. Seeing as Katy's birthday was at the end of our stay we decided not to eat and s

As ever Katy being over organised cautious we arrived at the train station 6 hours early. Yet again red plastic chairs playing a big part of our day. Whilst minding our own business Katy saw a delightful tramp attempting to wee into a bottle however it was mainly covering the floor. Moments later said tramp was pestering a local which ended in said local being struck on the head with tramps s
