| 17th July 2009 Judie Pratt | Mystic, CT!! - From: The Big Apple Loved the informative article about NYC , "Chiefy". While you're in Connecticut I hope you take time for to explore the little harbor town of Mystic. I'd recommend going in with the Beluga whales at the aquarium there and visiting Mystic Seaport. Marilyn would love the walk along the river to see all the homes of the ship captains, some of them dating from the 1700's. It's a shame you missed Provincetown... It's a great place (even if you aren't gay)!! ;) It's the best place for whale watching. Have a wonderful time and keep the blogs coming. We're enjoying your trip!! Larry and Judie |
| 15th July 2009 Ron Pinto | Amazing... - From: Gettysburg I've always been a Civil War buff from way back.......Un-believable how we could slaughter so many in such a short amount of time and all being brother Americans! Don't quite get-it but history is history.........Jealous once again that you are visiting places I still plan to walk one of these days......Enjoy!! |
| 13th July 2009 paul ogier | commendation - From: Gettysburg I commend you for not censoring the public comments. Teabag, indeed! |
| 12th July 2009 paul | rangers - From: Gettysburg Again with the battlefields. And you had to pay for a ranger? Too bad you're not with the airlines anymore where you used to get all the rangers for free. Rump rangers, that is. |
| 8th July 2009 Pat | license plate - From: Washington D.C. Hi Jeff, I saw a personalized Illinois license plate over the weekend with "chiefy" on it. Someone stole your name. |
| 7th July 2009 Greg | DC - From: Washington D.C. You snapped some really good shots this time, Jeff. DC is the kind of place that you can spend weeks at and never see all the free stuff. |
| 7th July 2009 paul | Hmmm - From: Washington D.C. Marilyn is probably getting bored with all the war history. I know I'm growing weary. Why don't you go do something else? |

| 29th June 2009 Pat | spelling - From: Savannah! Hi Chiefy, Cemetery is one of the most frequently mispelled English words. I still love your story and photo's. Just don't let it happen again. |
| 24th June 2009 Ron Pinto | Tennis Weekend... - From: Charleston South Carolina Cool pixs et al but just one question.......Will you folks be back at the Ranch for the "Partner Swap" tennis tourney this coming Saturday? Plenty of open airline seats out of Charleston Friday. Great prizes tooo. |

| 19th June 2009 Judie Pratt | White peacocks and Shenandoah - From: St. Augustine Part Deaux Hi Guys! A bit of trivia about the beautiful white peacock... Did you know other peacocks aren't attracted to them and so they generally lead a lonely, "loveless" life...or so Beckie was told when she did a stint at the zoo years ago. Also, if you plan to drive through (or spend time in) Shenandoah National Park, remember I'm an "athority" on the subject! :) I can share some thoughts on the northern Atlantic coast, too (north from NYC). You know, if you're in nrthern Maine at the right time of year, you can go way the heck out in the ocean and see puffins! It's a great adventure and I may still have a phone number... (Only a relatively few people can do this each year so it could be all booked up. Just a thought, anyway.) Continue to have fun and thanks for sharing!!! Judie |

| 7th April 2009 Camille | comedy - From: Coral Castle I haven't laughed this hard since I don't know when.....you MUST consider writing comedy! |
| 30th March 2009 Pat | BodyWorld - From: Florida We've been to Body Worlds twice when it toured through Chicago. The first time seeing it was much more amazing than the second but it was still cool. They do a great job of displaying the bodies with dignity but making them interesting. It's not every day you get to see nerves! If anyone goes, pick a time when it's not busy (avoid weekends) as its difficult to spend time looking at interesting things when the crowd is pushing you along. |
| 27th February 2009 deb | - From: Vicksburg to Tampa hi guys,, looks like you're having a great time.. keep those smiles a comin!!!! pretty darn fancy motor home.. but really 2.5 million.. platinum toilet or what? sunny here, but only 60's, expect more rain on the weekend.. miss ya,,,deb |

| 19th February 2009 Marge & Bill | Greetings - From: Texas, Louisianna, Mississippi Hi Jeff and Marilyn, Wow, the things one learns while driving arcross our great nation. Thanks for the comedy comentary and the exciting photos! All kidding aside, we are happy to hear from you. It sounds like you are enjoying your journey (except for Marilyn getting sick. Hope that didn't last long). Same ol' same ol' around here. Work and school. I did get away for three days snow shoeing in Yosemite (Feb 6-8). I went with 12 geography students and the Professor, Debra. Debra is my back packing buddy. We had fresh snow and the stormy weather held off during our trip. Needless to say, Bill did not go (he's allergic to snow and most activies done out side in the cold). Back to my studies now. Best wishes Marge and Bill |
| 27th January 2009 Fran | Where is your final destination? - From: Mexico Day Hi, I just got around to reading all of your posts. Looks like a really fun trip. Rowland and I have been to lots of the same places in his motorhome several years ago. I don't know if you remember but I lived in Kerrville, TX for three years at the home of the folk festival. Where is your final destination? Are you going to be at Lake Como for Superbowl South? I'm still in DC and it's snowing right now. |
| 24th January 2009 deb | - From: Mexico Day looks and sounds like fun,, especially the armed guards part. we saw them in cabo last year.. |
| 5th January 2009 Chiefy | Hi guys... - From: San Antonio to McAllen It is a little burry so we do wear the Tevas everywhere we go. It will be a good place to hang for a couple weeks or a bit more. |
| 5th January 2009 Becky and Jim | - From: San Antonio to McAllen We have stayed here once upon a time about 15 years ago. The people were very friendly. They had a problem with sand burrs in the grass. Is that still a problem? Wear your flip flops everywhere you would go barefoot was our solution. That temperature sounds heavenly. |
| 4th January 2009 Paul | Scenic - From: San Antonio to McAllen Yeah, it looks really scenic. Cats? I thought you were straight. |
