All good things get even better Hi Steve and Emm,
Finally manged to log onto your blog when Emma warned that you were bringing it to an end. I am sitting here on a friday evening being thoroughly entertained when i could possibly be going off to osbornes!
I think somebody else may have mentioned it but your dental skills are certainly being challenged by your writing skills, so i can see an alternative career beckoning.
Keep us entertained by your goings on in noosa if you can, love all the photos, even your model shots
Love from deep, indie and the girls
Brad Pitt is scared! Gadzooks! Is that a massive crab in your shorts, or just a little boy looking for a 'seahorse'?
Have fun at work... 'Yeeeehaaaah!!!' Looking forward to seeing a couple of bull's horns mounted atop the van when next we meet!
Have to say one of the few ways I can think of to make work less bearable is piped country and western over the air-waves. Give it a few days and you'll be pining for some pan-pipes and a good bus trip!
Cheers, Andy x
Improper images Jesus Chief, that "Catalogue Model Shot" literally made me re-coil from my computer. Surely this web site should have safeguards against that sort of photo!
Excellent to hear you're getting settled for another chapter out there. I trust you were adequately dealt with for not fixing that drawer when you were supposed to. Hope Em's fighting back.
Take care, Chris.
Chocolate and Nail Varnish Not a good thing having a squashed big toe, have done similar with a kitchen drawer - v painful and remember that the only cure for such injury is chocolate (in large quantities, this is better when accompanied by a good wine) and a quality nail varnish to cover up the injured digit - actually you are best off doing all your toe nails, not just the injured one as that may look rather odd!Hope it is soon better and your nail stays intact. Loved the Rainbow beach comments, maybe the person who decided on the name was colour blind? Have fun guys, looking forward to next installment! love and sparkles from Julia, Simon, Ashleigh and Maia xxx
OUCH!!! Ah Em, that sounds bloody painful! I hope your toe is on the mend hun, and that the drawer responsible has been either fixed or binned! Good luck on the work front in Noosa Steve, and with playing nurse to Ems injury!
Lots of love
Annie

sounds fab! Hi folks, just caught up on yur blog and its brought back some happy memories. It sounds like you're having a great time and we've enjoyed reading your escapades! I hope you enjoy Fraser and have some sunshine this time, i had a great time there, razzing about in a 4x4 on the beaches and truly roughing it for 3 days.
Reading your blog has made us smile! We look forward to your next update!
Tons of love Annie and Si xxxxxx
sharks This certainly sounds a better experience than most of the South American trip, better sailing than bus journeys!! This looks a super yacht, Emma looked to have got her love of sailing again even made me feel quite envious, although I have to admit I am past the sell by date now !!and dad would have to have a laptop secured to his life jacket!! we are watching out for more news and views.
Loving It! hey you 2 - what a great entry! Am loving reading this blog, Steve you should be published! I laughed out loud at several parts (colleagues in office now think am mad. Probably thought that before but too polite to say. (??) Obviously I am working extremely hard at this point but this is my 'fag' break (you know like air guitars, you can have 'air fags' I think)Glad to see you both smiling and yes, if you get your Rod Stewart tribute concert off the ground in that wet suit thingy then maybe you can keep Em in the manner in which she has come accustomed - altho maybe someone else would be behind the helm whilst she drinks bubbly on the deck in her Robert Cavalli shades! lots of love xx keep having fun!
It looks like I'm the only one with enough down time to be making dull comments! Very disappointed that you didn't protect your wife and give those Drongos a good thrashing Chief. Must have been a good book?! And who are you related to in Townsville? Take care, Chris.
Good work. Excellent stuff Chief. Just looking through your blog and it's got my day off to a good start. Thankyou and keep it coming. Cheers buddy, Chris.
sandman The theme of sand and mummies and all things ancient, evil and dark is coming through in all your entries steve. Thanks for the ancient graffitti shots as well. Very archaeological I must say.
sounds like you won't be getting one of those "best of the Andes" CDs for xmas from Em then? sure you don't have a secret pan pipe recording of some Beatles fave downloaded on your ipod Steve?
merry xmas!
I'm soo jealous Thanks for sharing your experience. I am planning to go to Machu Picchu with a friend in April or May so this is totally giving me something to look forward to! Glad to hear you enjoyed this leg of your trip even if you did have to endure some "stupid Americans". ;)
Steve, absolutley hilarious and so so true, I have lost count the number to arses I have had in my face whilst quietly minding my own business on buses in Peru and bolivia! Any complaint is met with the afore mentioned arse being thrust a few inches closer.. Lovely... Anyway Keep up the good work and cary on enjoying the travels.. Jack
Thanks Interloper! I´m not really such a grumpy bugger and Em doesn´t find me too hard to live with. I fear there may be more rants in the future though as sometimes, like today, things don´t run ever so smoothly ( currently waiting for a plane that has been cancelled numerous times due to mystery reasons ). So watch this space as they say!
message from an interloper Accidently came across your blog as you are doing a similar journey to my son at the moment. Just couldn't stop reading - you are hilarious. You must be horrendous to live/travel with (poor Em) but enormous fun to read. You give Bill Bryson and Pete McCarthy a run for their money.
Carry on blogging!!
You want to try Nigerian then Hiya! that is so funny I laughed out loud and nearly swallowed my chewing gum! he he! Last week I had this conversation with a Nigerian fella whose occupation I was trying to discover. 'Paaaaaakkkin' he said (try pronouncing in Jamaiican ) so I said 'Oh, you pack boxes? Manufacturing?' (whilst using hand movements simulating putting things in boxes) Naaaaaaaaah he grins, 'di paaaakkkin. u no, in de caaaz' (that's cars) Oh right, he is steering. Car Park attendent. So, I ask, what was your previous job (speech marks gone out of window now!) and he said 'yeh, di paaaakin.' 'Ok, I say 'Great, you did parking again?' LONG pause 'Naaah' he grins ' I did di paaaakin in di boxes!'
Ha ha ha! How much did that make me smile. Admittedly his english is tonnes better than my nigerian!lol to you both and HAPPY BIRTHDAY EM for tomorrow xxxx love Ju
