I think it is just the big tourist cities because I was warned that Venice was the same way. I have not been to Poriezza but I was in Turin and it was very nice there. Good luck and have fun. |

| 15th July 2008 Hailey | whale sharks!? ZOMG! - From: Holbox and Whalesharks.. wapwap everything looks so stunning! the little crab is very cute! we all miss you guys down here, while you guys have been enjoying the sun it's been nothing but storms and muddy rain, yesterday it finally stopped for half the day and i took Mindy for a walk. Mindy definetily misses you! she doesn't try to go into Chelsea's room and she doesn't go into the basement as much, also for the past week she has been sleeping in my room. Mom you can have her back she's quite annoying and keeps me up most of the night!last night she found one of her balls and proceeded to lick my face and run around my room until i woke up, after i woke up aaround 2:00 am she dropped her ball and meowed like crazy! i had to baricade my door and take away the ball to get a few a hours of sleep!( although we played ball for a very long time in the afternoon when i finally got up) all is well in the house and we can't wait to see you on wednesday/thursday-ish. until then luff ya Hailey.ps. teighe say's he's good and ya. you know the same as usaul:) |

| 30th June 2008 Hailey | wow! - From: Living Next to Mexicanos it looks stunning! i love the little lizard he is very cute looking. i hope you guys are enjoying your stay the house looks really bright and sunny. it is very hot here today to. dad splurged on some icecream for us. as i am typing i have tooken refuge in the basement which is the only cool place in the house. poor mindy is cooled up down here she is sleeping on her back and her tummy is showing. life is about the same here. except the phone rings every ten minutes for me and teighe everyone misses us from school. hope you enjoy mexico write to us soon!( oh by the way chelsea your pathetic use of uno does not condemn you for not speaking spanish give up now its already to late) teighe says hi im good the excact same thing as last time. *sigh* |

If they try to talk to you in French, Spanish, German or any other language, just pretend you have no clue what they're saying. It might be worthwhile learning a few phrases in Swahili, for example: Tafadhali nataka bia baridi (I would like a cold beer). |
