Day 16 Jinja Uganda - Eldoret Kenya 23.6.09 Today we left Uganda and headed back to Kenyan boarder. The camp we left behind had a wooden shack outside with the words ”Avoid Morning Sex Africa” painted on all sides, out of all the crazy signs we've seen this is by far the best sign yet although there was also ”Deathrow Hair Salon” & ”We Cut Black People Hair”. Day 10; 17.06.09 Ruhengeri; Rwanda - Kabale; Uganda An early departure from Ruhengeri and we were at the Rwandan / Ugandan boarder in about a half hour. We´ve quickly come to realise that if there´s a boarder involved then nothing is simple in Africa. Our crossing was supposed to be as easy as getting from a to b, however there always seems to be some jumped up boarder official wanting their payoff before allowing you to get to b! Day 4 - Bush camp, Eldoret - Kampala, Uganda We had such a terrible nights sleep and an early morning to get to Uganda. At the boarder we were swamped by guys in yellow coats trying to sell us Ugandan Shillings, it reminded us of the stock market with 20 guys waving money at us shouting 'buy'. Once in Uganda we made our way to Kampala stopping briefly for lunch at the side of the road where there were hundreds of Butterflys and a Praying Mantis. After arriving 2hrs later than scheduled due to the planes previous journey getting in the way of a lightning bolt we headed to our hotel for the night, The Silver Springs (sounds nicer than what it was). Hello Folk's, This is our first blog. So with one week left and an abundance of alcohol and inflatable animals as decoration our leaving party was ready. All our friends and family turned up to suitibly give us the "be carefull" and "come back in one piece" warnings whist also dancing like a pissed John Travolta to Saturday Night Fever, it was beautiful.
