| 19th April 2007 Eric | Parking Fee for Jekyll Island - From: Jekyll Island I was glad to read your post, sounds like you had a nice time. I hope you found the $3 Parking Fee worth it, the money is used to take care of the public areas - beach crossovers, bike paths, etc. No other tax money is given to the Jekyll Island Authority for these things, so guests are charged. But we think $3 for uncrowded beach may be the best baragin around these days! |
