We were once again woken by screaming toddler getting spanked. Since the sun was out again we headed to the beach! We spent our last hour splashing in the waves and digging our toes in the sand.    This morning we woke up to the sound of (dads imitation) "cry cry I don't want to get in my swimsuit! Spank spank spank." we then woke up and headed to the beach. We hung out there all morning and then ate lunch to the room and headed back down. I had another virgin piña colada. Then around 3 the storm that was supposed to have been here all week finally hit.   We took our breakfast on the balcony again and decided to go to Shell island. Dad heard about it on the Internet and apparently was an island just filled with shells. Mom wasn't excited, but we  made the 1 hour long drive to Panama City to catch the ferry. Once we got there, we drove around, lost, for 30 minutes thanks to iPhone map. We finally found a old rickety wooden motel that rented pontoon boats to get to shell island. So we all reluctantly got on the old boat loaded down with all our stuff.     We started off the day eating cereal on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We then got ready, and headed to the pool. It was very relaxing and a perfect beach day. We then headed up to the room for some pb&js. After that, Dad decided to bury the boys in the sand. They each dug a hole, sat in it, and waited for dad to throw sand on them.    This morning we woke up at Gilmore Girls inn and tried to move to our Hilton, where we were staying the rest of the week. We couldn't check in yet so we stopped by 'Alvin's Tourist Trap' or as the sign said ' Tropical Department Store.' we bought a couple boogie boards, then we were headed to the beach! Hilton let us use the beach and would call us when our room was ready. So we went to the beach and our boogie boards were almost immediatley taken. Welcome to Destin! For breakfast we decided to try the famous cafe du Monte, but when we got there the line wraped around the For breakfast we decided to go to the famous Cafe de Monte ,but when we got there,there was a line wrapped around the whole building, which was more like a tent. So we got in line and settled down to wait but then dad made friends with a kind of matir de ( I don't know how to spell that) and dads new grill-wearing friend got us right in! It was delicous! This morning we woke up, checked out, and went to Starbucks (I got a venti, omg, never again it was giant!)  mom and I then got dropped off at northpark grudgingly by dad and had 2 hours, we went to urban outfitters. Then it was back on the road for an hour. We then stopped at a lovely Burger King. Back to the car. The boys watched movies while I listened to my iPod. At 4 'o clock we dropped a shaking Lola off to jail otherwise known as, "the vet", and we were off! Once off, without a Starbucks, because of dad who made stupid excuses like "traffic" and was unmoved by begging. In Norman, Dads road rage, which had already been in full power, after me telling him to calm down were not in a hurry he responded, "Settle down" kicked into overdrive as the boys started a new game, counting the cars that we passed and cheering, Highway Nascar.
