Hello everyone, how is the winter going? it was 42 degrees here the other day, %$^&ing hot man....SO I have been transfered to a different station....I now work at Station 8 , Liverpool....it is very simmilar to Station 202....we have a pumper, Platform and rescue....1 Station Officer and 7 guys....I have been there for 2 full shifts and already had 2 major fires, one was a shopping plaza, and one was an apartment unit with persons trapped, and a wicked vehicle extrication....and the news paper did an article on me and the exchange program...lol... Hello everyone....been awhile since i have wrote a blog...lol...HOwever....I have been on a couple trips in the last couple weeks....Spent a week in Queensland in Cairnes...it was amazing...very tropical...I just lounged around the pools most of the time...went on a crocadile tour...and i finally got to dive the Great Barrier Reef...i went on a liveaboard charter for a couple days where you sleep on the boat...we got some night dives in with the SHARKS...that was freaky man...met some real cool people at the hostel...i actually liked it so much i missed my plane and stayed for an extra day. Well it is official....I have Graduated from NSW's Primary Rescue - USAR Category 1 course....It was the best course i have ever participated in...even though they payed me out constantly...it was good though...thae hardest part was the different terminology....for example if they call the trunk of a car the "boot" and the engine hood the "bonnet"...lol...took some getting used to...but i am almost bilingual in Aussie izms... hello everyone....I have been quit slack on my blogs...That is because i have been in a rescue course for the past 3 weeks, and have one more to go...cant wait...so i have been laying low and really have not been up to much ...how is everyone back home? Well I made the news...not really, but this photo ended up on a website... I went to a Studio 54 Ball (70's theme) on Sept 3 and it was a blast, i met so many people as you can see in the pic...the guy with a G banger on was halarious...crazy as a shit house rat though....there were 3000 people there and they were all single....so i thought i would share this fine pic.... Hi Everyone....some more boring scenery pics...lol...i went for a ocean front walk today all the way to Coogee Beach...must a million km walk.... Sat Went to my first 000 party, it is the same as our 911 nights but they only have them 5 times a year....it was a gong show....we partied there till 2 then to an after hours bar, where they sold beers till 6 am...so we stayed till they closed...had to be good patrons...the Aussie can sure drink all right...not Bob and Doug style but i will teach them...the ratio guys to girls was about 3 girls to [View Full Entry]
