Hot AND smelly?

Disgraceful
Dear Ms Scraggs. Most disappointed to discover that you have had the good sense to avoid all the pre-election hype by absenting yourself in such an amazing sounding manner. And I ought to add that I am not in the least bit jealous. Not in the least tiniest bit. At all. Even slightly. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! Seen any tigers?

Hi i am so glad you and your father had a great time in ecuador. i am a native born but from Manta a city in the coast. Actually i am planning to move back to Ecuador soon after living in NYC for the past 35 years. Out of coincidence i came across your entries which were very amusing and very alive. Well i hope you and your father continue your journeys throughout the world and letting others know about them. Your entries will now encourage me to visit the other side or culture of my country thank you!

Hi. Not sure if you are still in Ecuador but if you have time it is definitely worth going to the Galapagos. I had an awesome time. You can get cheap flights with Aerogal from Guayaquil (about $40 I think) and fly intro Baltra (on Santa Cruz) or San Cristobal. There are loads of companies offering day trips or short cruises if you don't have a lot of time and all are very competitive. I had organised my trip from the UK but it would have been easy and probably cheaper to do it there. The Rough Guide has some useful advice about booking your own cruise which you can probably access online. Enjoy!

Hey, I haven't been there in 30 yrs. Do you have any good ideas of how to get there on the cheap. ...And live there cheap. It so happens that I and my daughter arrive to Quito on June 23rd, the Galaps are not really on our agenda, but if I could find a cheap way to get there, I would love to treat Laura, my daughter, to such a great jig. Just super jacked up to hit the road again and besides my daughter invited me, whou, a get out of town free card. I'm so lucky TP

Have a fantastic time! Make sure you put on lots of sunblock as the sun is very hot there, being on the equator. Also, watch out for all those Equadorian men who might want to marry you! Buen viaje!

Hey Caz! You sound as busy as ever; I'm jealous of all the cool places you're getting to see! The whitewater must've been huge to throw a pro like you out of the raft---glad you came away with only a bruise :) Sounds like you've got a good bunch of travel companions---how funny to have that guy from your town on the other trip! Do you get to hang out with their group on your stops? Remember your sunscreen under the Southern Sun so you won't be a lobster by the time you get to Vegas! Miss you! Chezza

Hey Caz, Glad to hear things are still going well for you. Down here in Georgia things are also much the same, though this year I am getting out more (I have learned which corners I can cut, etc!! so I can have more free time). Going to Tampa, FL for Thanksgiving to see Aerosmith in concert!! Should be a laugh. Will give you a call this weekend to catch up properly as it has been a while. Sunday evening good for you? PS. I would e-mail you more but don't have an e-mail address for you!!
