Just trying a second entry. We went to breakfast this morning (which was a terrific buffet) and must have walked past 10,000 orchid blossoms just in this mid-range hotel. Here are just a couple examples of the gorgeous plants. Additionally, there is an amazing display of stone carvings here from a grandfather of Thai feng shui, Voratanut Assagulgovit. Where it begins...the airport, of course!

The airport in Bangkok is only four years old and its gorgeous, clear and easy to find your way around in. After twenty-four hours of travel, we weren't in any mood to slow down and take pictures . . . perhaps on the way out.
