Catie, You forgot to mention one of our christmas guests...Aunt Jemima! I know she was only there in 'syrup' but you could've acknowledged her. Also think you undersold our xmas dinner. It was pretty freakin good for a first effort and with limited kitchen space and utensils

Thank God no one pushed Clinchy down a hill - he would have rolled and rolled and rolled (sorry mate!). Also very concerned about Goat and Clinchy in their 'Gay Pride' scarf and beanie - I have never believed those rumours before, but you never ever know, do you. Bryan

Hi Kate, Happy New Year to you, Vince and friends, life continues to be great for you by the looks of things. We have had a nice holiday and I'm ready for Lachie to back to school! He is nearly taller than me and I'm losing ground rapidly. WE missed you at Christmas- a tricky one without Tony but at least Georgia had great news re New York which sparked everyone up. hi Kate, Looks like you are in another fantastic spot. We are all plodding a bit here as you can imagine but life goes on and am wrapt you're having such a great time. We are coming to the end of school hols so back to work. It will be good to have a bit of routine. Lachie is quickly learning how to be a couch potato and dog Pepe curls up wherever there's a space. It doesn't have to be big!! I'm thinking of asking Georgia to design a handbag for him to be carried around in! Take care, love Helen.

Strip Frisbee
Sounds like a tough life. Hope the frisbee wasn't 'Strip Frisbee' - four blokes were caught naked at an oval in Glen Iris at 7.30am this morning playing it. Then I put 2+2 together - four naked blokes, Glen Iris Oval, DLA votes day yesterday, Mad monday today.............. I'd better ring Marty and draft a press release about how the players were most apologetic adn didn't mean to bring any more disrepute on the DLS OC AFC than they already have. You playing 'Strip Frisbee' will certainly not help their case. Will flick an email later and bring you up to speed with all the news. Bryan

finally, a reply!
Bryan and Lis are here with us at the beach house and we can finally respond to yr emails. Sorry we haven't contacted u earlier but neither of us has the internet at home. Glad 2 see u looking so happy and obviously having fun in yr free time. We love reading yr emails and picturing u over there having gr8 adventures. Some might say that we are living vicariously through you. as nothing too exciting is happening here. The Swans have missed the finals for the first time in 7 yrs and we just don't know what to do with ourselves! We can't believe that you've been left in charge of a small child Vincent-what on earth was that little mite's mother thinking?! Grandma wants to come over and join u for the rest of the winter-she could do with a bit of canadian heat, plus she could purchase a new pair of bathers in Hawaii on the way through. We miss you both very, very much and look forward to the next installment. Love and hugs, Grandma and Nette xxxooo

We arrived back home from Broome last night - had a great break sleeping under the stars. Sounds like you are having a quiet time given the highlights over the last week have been bikes, t shirts and a dark haired Dutchy (aren't all people from Holland blonde?) and very unsexy hats. got 11 more days in SA, fly out on the 24th...we´ve got a 22 hour bus trip to look forward to now though! could be fun! very jealous of the ice cream!! think i feel like some now actually.

hey ya, hope joey is doing ok too, flights here I think are around 900 AU from london, it's super hot and nice here. We are cruzing around on our bikes, swimming reading and eating lots of icecream, and they do icecream really really well here, really well. working a lil but not much, living the dream. looks like you are too, when are you europe bound or are you there now?
