Well the time has come to write the last ever entry for my blog. I must admit I'm feeling a little tired, so don't expect it to be anything special. Well, on Wednesday, we left Queenstown and went through to Dunedin, which was first settled by Scots, hence it's name. Most of the streets are named after Scottish places and streets, and the city itself is modelled on that of Edinburgh. Here we only had one interest, and that was of course Cadbury's world! We arrived in Dunedin around half 1ish or so, and after checking in and sorting ourselves out, we headed into town for a quick walkabout and lunch, before our 75minute tour of Cadburys World, commencing at 3pm. Well last night we arrived in Queenstown around 5.30ish, after leaving around 8 in the morning. Long day on the bus as you can imagine, which was not helped by the fact we had THE most boring bus driver in the world, for the 3rd day running. The guy has the most monotone voice ever, and just goes on and on about rubbish! I know it's been a while! But I am still alive, do not fear. Not had much time to get round to blogging, as we're generally in each palce for a day or two, get out and about and squeeze what we can in, and so I've been a bit busy. But here's a quick update. Well, as mentioned we left Rotorua on Thursday, and headed down to Taupo. The journey itself Im sure would only take around 40 mins, but they break it up loads and insist on dragging it out, so we left at 9am, and arrived here around 3. On the day, we went to the thermal wonderland, which brought out the geography geek in me, and I thought was really cool. Monday 23rd - Today we finally left Auckland and was on the move, courtesy of our Bus, Magic. It was an early(ish) start, especially after our lie ins in Auckland, and left around 8. From there we went to Mt Eden, a lookout of the city, and then had a bit of a drive. Rachel got travel sick though, poor girl, and was sick in our food bag. Eurgh! Ok, so Auckland. I've just uploaded the rest of the pics, so they show themself what I've been upto. Basically...Hol and the 2 Rachs arrived late Monday night, so it was nice to see them again! Felt abit weird considering its been so long, but I'm sure we'll have a good laugh! Hey. Well I arrived in NZ last night around 11ish, and stayed at a Hostel called Base. Hollie, Rach and Rachel arrive here today, though only about 11.30 at night I think. I've not done a great deal today (well nothing at all really) after waking up at like 12! :O In all fairness though I needed to catch up on my sleep desperately after getting up at like 5 on Saturday and then only having 3 hours sleep that night as I went out and then had to be up at 6 Sunday Morning. Alrightey. First of all may I say that my photos are taking a while to upload so you'll have to bear with me. This website can be so slow at time ..Facebook's much easier. But as I know it would be far too complicated for all you oldies (Mum, Dad, Sheila etc..) to use, I shall stick to uploading them on here aswell.
