| 14th February 2006 aileen | - From: To Darkest Peru Just wanted to let you know that the purple corn pudding is mazamora morado. Maize Morado is the purple corn that is used to make the pudding. I didn't finish reading the rest of your blog but I think you should have given Lima a second chance. Yes at first it is a little scary but Lima has a lot to offer. I have been going to Peru ever since I was child. And I just came home from a three week vacation with my mom. My parents are both from Peru and every year I go I discover something beautiful and amazing about Lima. I hope you enjoyed your trip!! |

| 28th July 2005 Mr Andy | My island - From: You better Belize it Jambo And here I was thinking I was going to have to become a bestselling novelist to afford an island! I trust you put in an offer - $100 max. The headings are good. As a reader, I would like to know more about the places you're seeing and how they feel... what the people are like, how the countries differ from one another, what sense you get of wealth or poverty, what surprises you, etc. Mambo |
| 28th July 2005 DAD | Currency - From: You better Belize it It would help if I knew Belise$ to US etc why dont you just keep to one currency ie Rand US$ or £. It would be easier to understand. More Photos of you both!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| 10th July 2005 Emperor Bob | From the outside looking in - From: Life on wheels and the quest for a bear Thank you for your perspective. It's always interesting to hear how others see us. | 7th July 2005 Brendonus Maccus Lean | Please don't delete this comment! - From: Life on wheels and the quest for a bear Howzit matey, It seems that as a couple, you have have truly managed to merge into an indistingiushable amalgam of Carl and Nicky persona. The writing betrays a strong base of Carlos with a hearty helping of Nicola. I suggest a psuedonym for you writing. Pehaps Nicarla? Anyway, I must go. I've got meself a broom, a piece of string and a dumbell and I have an appointment with my shower... |
| 22nd June 2005 Robin | What a story - From: Never mind the Polar Bears, beware of the Walrus!!! Thank you for your great account of your adventure. Dean is my "little" brother and I cannont believe that a "boy" from Montana is being confronted by walruses. (Maybe a grizzly) Travel safe Robin |
| 20th June 2005 Franklin | Woah - From: Never mind the Polar Bears, beware of the Walrus!!! Stunning pictures. The polar bear is pretty, nothing like it; the seals very cute. Such a shame you could not cuddle any of those cuties. The Walrus is just grand, and looks very kind. A fabulous shot. Carl, I wonder what this great beast evolved from ;o) ? The scenery is majestic, all things bright and beautiful ! Have lots of fun ! Franklin. |
