The last 10 days or so I have explored more of the outback of Austrailia. Leaving the comforts of booze, bars and my new freinds i flew to Darwin to explore Kakadu national park, the outback of Austrailia and the red canter. Kakadu is a national park that has been given back to the aboriginlas to live. the three days consitied of plus 33 days with a humidity to make it feel like 40, hiking in the sun to enjoy a dip in the water fall and camping with a bunch of princesses and an old dirty guide. this country is so rich in history if you are open minded enough to want to learn about it. that is when i got the bug about the aboriginals. there story is amazing!!!!!! After the two night gong show in Airle Beach it was nice to stop off of in Paradise and chill for a couple days. Chill, i mean give my liver a rest. We stayed in the most beautifull hostel yet.... it would be some place honey mooners go.... no luck here!!!!! I spent the days sunbathing with the English Chaps and evntually decided to take an afternoon stroll around the bays and throught the rain forest. This fat kid was sweating a bead...... It was easily plus 30. A swim in the ocean and a cold beer in a pub by the sea... A litttle reward for the days walkabout. Magnetic Island is beautifull and i am glad i took the time to admire it. This trip has been about pushing my self out of my personal comfort zone and conqouring some of my fears. Today I am King of the world.......... The boast and crew for the Whitsundays were absolutley fabulous. A real cruisy boat and not a lot of partying (which was a nice break for grandma) the ocean was blue and calm and we had really good sunny weather untill the moring we came home. I really clicked with some of crew and the other canadian passagers. First afternoon, we stoped at this bay with lots to see. I sucked up my pride and got in to go diving. One of the mandatory stops on the Oz bus is this working cattle station located in inland Queensland. I was very sceptical at first thinking that it would be a dude ranch all cheezed up. The complete opposite. They really were fabulous hosts. We did skeet shooting with a shoot gun, goat mustering on horse back, quading throught the property to see the Brama cattle, whip cracking, roping and a goat rodeo... where my team came in secound..... Should of been first!!!! That was just in the afternoon. That evening they prepared a open flame roast beef meal with all the fixings plus stove top biscuits and bread...... Fantastic!!! What a great trip over to the island. I had a fabulous group and the timeof my life. Grandma put those young bitches to bed eveynight!!!!! The trip strated out rocky when we barly got a mile away from the bagrge and we had beeen stuck three times and the last took 30 people to push us out. The 4X4 was pooched. Called the shop and as a group spent 2 hours starnded on the beach with the high tide moving in on us. It was a good reason for us to bound since the other two groups had left us for dead. Sorry all, as my mother sternly reminded me it has been awhile since my last communication. I had them worried sick enough that i think I am cut out of the will. Sorry!! A couple quick updates. Left Surfers and off to Brisbane. Spent 12 hours their and left my new friend Natalia. I was sad to leave her but knew there was good things forging ahead. Ended up in Noosa for two days. A very wealthy town full of silver spoons living off there trust funds and waiting to take over daddy's business. GReat town. All the locals would come sluming it with us back packers. I was sad to leave Byron put needed to move on and share the wealth. Surfers Paradise reminds me of Miami Beach of some other extremelly commercialized town. The weather has finally smartened up and i have had two days of sun and enjoyed them at the beach. The first night we ended up doing our own pub crawl and finished the evening off by attending a strip club. Whih sounds lovely except is was women. Natalia has never been before. It did not bother me any... ..... a place i should spend more time at. We were the only two women patrons in there, good odds with the guys, lots of attention and free drinks... After concouring one of my fears it was off to Byron Bay. A great little beaach town with lots of character. Lots of fun people on my bus so three party nights out in Byron at this bar called Cheeky Monkeys. I renamed it to Spanky Monkeys.... I felt that was a,ore appropriate name. Great little bar with cheap food and lots of backpackers. Not having great luck with roomates. This chap from England (who is on the topbunk) introduces him self and quickly follows it up with " I was so drunk last night I tried to shag a chick in here. I finally left the big city of Sydney. Back on the bus and 12 hours later we showed up at Spot X. I was quite excited to see what trouble I could get my Spot X into.... oh sorry mom! I met this little cheecky english girl Natalia from Liver pool england on the bus. MARDI GRA was this weekend. Gay pride is alive in Sydney. Holly shit!!! I have never been to something so bizzar, intersting and just pandimonium!!!!! There was 1/2 million people watching the parade. Me and the dutch girls went and secured a spot at 2:00 for a parade that starts at 7:45. This beter be good. I think I was drunk, sober and then drunk again sitting in the sun drinking wine. Saw more tits and ass then a hore house. Women making out everywhere and hot men that you know only want to roll you over... from behind.... what a dissapointment. The costumes were fabulous... or some like to call there bed room atire.
