The Wildlife Museum reminds me of Cabellas which is a really weird place. Wondering about the wooly mammoth ... what did the plaque say? Cool night shot!
omg ... I think we ate at the very same restaurant! The owner was incredibly nice. My daughter was worried about her chinchilla's being out in the car in August and the owner let her bring them into the office area in the back of the restaurant. Most kind.
*laughing ... that cross totally blew me away as well. You're traveling across this unbelievably flat area which seems like it goes forever and you can see that cross from really far away.
this is such a cool site ... I didn't realize that you'd be documenting as you went along! I traveled some of these ways not too long ago when taking my daughter Rita to school out in Arizona and on the trip home.
Camping Arches National Park is one of my favorites for this whole trip. It wasn't on my original plan. I decided to go there after talking to a ranger at the White Sand Monument. I am glad I changed my plan to include this fantasitic location to my trip. Great place and great camp!!
Miracle Stairs There is no center pole or supports for the miracle stairs. The whole stair case was standing puring based on balance. It was a design and engineering miracle at the time.
Cadillac Ranch I've never seen anything like that. I'm glad they painted so much pink on the cars. Otherwise I think it would look more like graffiti than the current almost tie-died current look.
Camping Cool choice of camp sites. You're obviously a veteran camper at this stage of your trip. This is my favorite set of pictures so far. Did you plan this location, or stumble upone it?

Freedom to pursue one's desire is one of the important values to me. With this in mind, the freedom to travel from place to place, to experience different cultures, to meet different poeple, to try different foods, to learn different history, and to explore different adventures are something that I would like to integrate in my life.
I am currently living in the United States and am working for a fortune 100 telecommunication company. My goal is to be able to take time off from work every several months to visit different places.... full info
