Hi! We made it to Edmonton. Thirteen hours of driving and two tanks of gas. We had planned to leave Thursday morning at 6 am but after getting our van the night before we noticed a smell on one of the front tires. Well we figured we better get it looked at so we ended up waiting around till 9 when the garage opened so the mechanic could look at it. By ten thirty we were finally off. Hi everyone This is Coral, sitting at home and trying on clothes, making sure everything still fits for my next trip. This time I'm leaving mom at home and heading off on a speed of light road trip around Canada and the U.S. with my friend Charlotte. Coral: Well we've made a lot of progress distance wise since our last post. Still haven't managed to find an internet cafe with a place to download pictures yet. Oh well. There will be many pictures to see when we return, we had to buy another memory card for the camera today. Today we've ended up in Cork which is a surprisingly large city, much bigger than we expected and we haven't even seen anything but our BB yet, just trying to find it was crazy, a bit like getting around in Seattle. Coral: What a whirlwind trip we've been having. I think it's... 9 days in now but it seems like we've done enough for a whole month. Well from Liverpool we got on a ferry to the Isle of Man where my great grandpa and all of his family were from. It was a very windy day and the sea was so choppy I got very sea sick. Coral: Hi everyone We're still alive don't worry! Haven't had any time to stop and type, its been crazy and amazing. Spent two days in London. Got off the plane, onto the train going to Cockfosters, couldn't help but laugh at that. Then at every stop they say Please Mind The Gap! Last Year 132 injuries and 1 fatality! MIND THE GAP!!! London was amazing, our BB was right beside the Tower Bridge which is beside the Tower of London. Took at tour through the tower, lots of history there.
