I was thrilled to be going to Vienna as my uncle has lived there for 30 odd years and I have never been!!!! I was greeted my him and his girlfriend, Elizabeth and taken for a tour around the city seeing great landmarks and also an amazing cake shop- yum yum! I then had a driven tour to some of the other amazing buildings in the city. Vienna has so many of them its hard to see it all in a day! Mum and Dad headed over for a week!!! Was so excited for them to come and see where i'm living! Plus i'd saved some of the things to do in Dubai for their arrival! We were away for 5 days with this trip and its quite exhausting as its basically 4 flights and each are 7 hours! We go Dubai- Singapore- Melbourne- Singapore- Dubai!!!! When in Melbourne we only get minimum rest which is about 13hrs which sounds alot but means you cant really do anything in Melbourne but sleep- all seems a bit of a waste really! And even those 13hrs aren't enough can you believe!!! Well guys! Its been a while since I wrote so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! Hope you all had a good one! I managed to make it home for 2 days over Christmas as I had a few days off thank god!!! My latest little adventure was to Nagoya, Japan!!!! I was very excited about this one apart from the flight time (8.5hrs there and 11.5 hrs back!!!!)…………………............. The flight was perfect…. All of the economy crew were Japanese which was a blessing as most of the passengers didn’t speak English. The passengers were a delite! So tidy, clean and never ask for anything! A lot of the passengers on the flight and in Japan wear face masks to avoid giving or receiving and germs and all sport little throw away slippers!! Bless them! Hi Guys! me again!.............. My next flight was supposed to be a Dakar, Bangladesh- Crews main destination for bringing back the old fake DVDS............... Was quite looking forward to this one as supposidly a very very deprived country and you know how i like my picture taking!!! After I got back from Dubai I had a few days off. Most friends were away on leave and me being back from leave, and circumstances I was ready to come back home… seriously as a lot of you know! My leave came at last, although a little earlier than expected due to emergency leave. Although it was a very sad time it was also great to see so many of my family that I haven’t seen for a long time, some longer than others and my friends! It was a jam packed two weeks! My layover in Rome………………………………........................ I think Rome is my favourite destination that I have travelled to so far with work. Its funny how I have had to travel all the way to Dubai to be able to see more of Europe!! We only had a small amount of time in Rome and because of the time we arrived it was made even shorter.
