Well the plan toaday was to ferry over to Koh Phang Yan at 10.30am ...................... but it had rained all evening and we were told that there would be a storm today, so decided to put it off til tomorrow.....................time to get some washing done and I had to go and find a new backpack as with the trouble I had with my back before I left the one I have isn't supportive enough....... unfortunately I would have to return to Chewang (Blackpool!) Slept in again!!!!!! No air conditioning last night, just a fan so quite a sticky sleep (girls from Withington Rd, know you'll be loving that one!!!) Moved on today- again- to Big Buddah Beach, got a nice little bungalow- still to expensive for us really thou- going to head to Ko Pha Ngan tomorrow- heard its more backpacky and lots more beautiful as its not been as spoilt by tourists! So after a disturbed nights sleep at the coconut grove (or should we say brothel...!!) We checked ourselves out of the hell hole in hope we might find paradise that so many people we know have told us about. So Timmy (what would we do without you?!!) decided to rent a scooter and check out the surrounding areas out for a decent beach hut for us to finally chill out on...been 6days now and we've not stopped. Today we woke up to get a flight south to Ko Samui................We were in luck! It was nice to travel in a four................... We were to fly to Surat Thani (southern Thailand) then get a bus and ferry over to Ko Samui as it was too expensive to fly straight to Ko Samui, and the 14hr train journey didnt take our fancy!!!!!! Two other girls shared a taxi with us to the airport (really bugeting!) one girl was on her own and flying to Bangkok so me and Vix took her under our wing!!!! She was on an arranged trip so already had a taxi booked- bonus as we jumped in it too and got a free ride to Ko San Road. Hey Guys....... Well over slept today...... didn't wake up til 10! We were up til 3.30am packing, missed breakfast and didn't manage to get out of the room til way past 11- ooooppps! We are leaving Singapore today to go to Bangkok and to visit the rest of Thailand. Sad to leave Singapore as we feel really comfortable here now....... but also excited and apprehensive about geting to Thailand.... looking forward to it being so cheap!!! Today we planned to buy a City Buzz Card. Its only $5 and we can hop on and off the bus as we like. There are 3 differnt routes we can take......... thought this might be a good way to get around and also see some of the sights we might not have yet discovered. The nearest stop was in Little India. Well this place is, how can I describe it?....... a mixture of Rusholme and the Northern Quarter in Manchester..... its crazy as its like a little shambles village thrown inbetween huge sky scrapers! Well we had to tear ourselves from our beds this morning......... we both looked like we had been hit in the face, our eyes were so swollen from tiredness!! But again the food was calling- breakfast is included in our price- which makes this place EVEN better than we thought!! Took full advantage like always! O well after a very tearful farewell at the airport we were about to embark off on our trip of a life time! Quick bit of naughty duty free shopping and then straight onto the plane where we got ourselves comfortable for our long journey ahead- or so we both thought!!!!!!
