Where are you? - From: The P in Pai is for perfect!!!
Hi - I am hoping you are now happily exploring Laos and finding new wonders to enjoy. Life goes on here and yesterday was Shelley & Paul's engagement party @ tiger tiger which was very good and enjoyed by all. Even Nan was still out clubbing after midnight! Tis funny how she can stay upright after so many vodkas but is so unstable when sober! Maybe that is a lesson to us all! Looking forward to reading your next blog and viewing pictures. Take care - love to you both M xxx

The W in Woking is for `Wet` - From: The P in Pai is for perfect!!!
Another week has just flown past & unlike with you guys...............NOTHING HAPPENED The 28 mile journey was mostely univentfull & didnt contain anywhere near 724 bends(did you really count them??) Musnt grumble tho......at least its work. Its a big site but feels like being abroad as no-one speaks English. Thought of you both tho the other night when in Tescos....& so decided to cook myself a Thai curry. 240 secs....DING.....Lovely. On Monday it rained.......a lot, so to pass the time we played Phoo sticks in the carpark........Not quite as exciting as your real-life rafting, but never the less rewarding .........see i told you nothing happened.( Did you see what i did there??) To round the week off on a really sad note ive just bought tickets for Girls Aloud & Simply Red........yes i need help. Daves the only sane one here & he says HI. Gotta go feed the cats now bud. Keep it comming & enjoy. LOL M xxxxxxxxx

It is so good to see you guys having such an AMAZING time!!! VERY well documented Brynley, there's a writer in you yet! Let me know if you fancy a book deal. And I suspect that I know what present you will bringing back for me if you ever return from your travels. (.... baby hedgehog?! am I right? I'm right!!) Are all the pictures of animals taken by demand of Kim? hehehe I'm missing you guys lots and lots, especially with seeing your smiley faces on here, but I will do my best to come out and visit you sometime next year -- it looks like I'm going to have no choice with the amount of fun you're having. And I don't think it'll break the bank by the sounds of it! can't wait to hear more from you both! Kitxxxx

Wheres Gooffy? - From: Wait a minute this isnt a karaoke bar is it??
Love the idea of a temple for Donald Duck mate. Only with so many temples & gods to follow they must be running out of candidates if they are reduced to sifting through Walt Disney characters. What next........ Buzz Lightyear? I see you took the Card Playing Ginger cat with you from Koh chang for company, not very lively is he mate? allways asleep. Hang on to it though mate might need it when you eventually have that shave eh? Dave is well & having a well deserved rest.......must be all that Karaoke???? Keep it coming......lol M xxxxx

Hey Bro and Kim, Chang Mai's looking great, beautiful place. We actually cycled up the mountain to Doi Suthep... we thought it would be a good idea at first, but wow! what a killer... then 160 steps at the top too! Piccies are looking great, would like to see more with you in them though? Pai next... enjoy, supposed to be lovely (real thailand). I've been off on half term this week, so chilling out in the snow! Jay and i went to devon for a few days to surf and have a few parties this weekend, celebrating halloween, guy fawkes and Gemsy's 26th. Busy busy! Take care of yourself and look forward to the next update. Much Love x

Hi, so good to read your tales, they are both interesting and amusing - and we are all struggling to find anything to say that might be of interest to you! How can we compare our lives to what you are experiencing - tis impossible. But hey life does go on back here and we are experiencing the usual random UK autumnal weather. I have been involved in the local production of Calamity Jane this week which has been quite hilarious (and that is just backstage!) making men up and helping them into tights and other strange regalia at breakneck speed can lead to some very precarious and hysterical situations! I am beyond blushing now and they are beyond caring! Nan came to stay Wednesday and I showed her all your blogs as her pc is still not working properly. She was laughing and oohing and aaghing (except at the pets in cages - had to skip that bit) She is away this weekend on her Turkey and Tinsel (booze up for the grannies) - I bet they could tell us a few tales - maybe we should get her a blog! We have been arranging our 'family' xmas get together - this year we are going skating at the Natural History Museum (Nan though is definitely staying on terra firma! Can you imagine!!!) so if you are free on the 14 December you know you are both more than welcome to join us?? he he. Cold weather is something you might be missing by then? I must go now as another busy weekend looms ahead (hence the early morning blog) but keep us posted when you can, enjoy everything and keep safe (that bit sounds a bit tricky with the transport over there tho!). Love you loads and ofcourse missing you. M xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

STOOLS !! - From: Can i interest you in jewels, clothes....puppies????
Hey guys Love the stories & pix, this is a best seller. Thai life & culture sounds so disorganised & caotic but obviously works for them . Was a little worried though about your last entry discribing the wonders of Chaturak weekend market.!! Im sure it would be a health & saftey issue if the traders were allowed to sells their wears on STOOLS!!!!!.......love it. The pix are great & its so good to see you both having such a fab time. Talking of pets ......... have got Dave some female company & hes a very happy chappie. Take care & have a shave soon ............love to you both M xx

- From: Bridges, Tigers and Boats...OH MY!!
Hey Bro and Kim, yet another week has passed, i'm sure you are beginning to loose track of the days and weeks! Its half term now so partying is officially on the cards, starting last night with a wedding reception in Stratford upon Avon, wicked, messy party with a 'line up' of the freestylers & Ellis dee (a line up at a wedding, i know seems crazy... but this was no ordinary wedding!) Through my minging hangover and multiple vomitting sessions i have logged on to witness your latest adventures. I did the exact same excursion to floating markets, kwai bridge and tiger temple. Amazing, one of the best days of my travels, glad that you have experienced it too. When we were there, a rather large american rambo got in our long boat and capsized it... wahaha! will never forget the look on the little thai ladies face when she popped up and realised what had happened, then left him in the water to fend for himself! hahaha! The Tiger temple was amazing, but i had to put a a burden on it, those Tigers are without a doubt drugged up their eyes! They are carnivores, they are fighting cats, they do not like humans, therefore they must be putting something in their food... its those buddhists, don't trust anyone who dresses like they have just been tangoed! Anyway, where to next.... Chiang Mai/Rai? Get trekking, you'll love it! Thanks for keeping us updated, piccies look fab and yes, still very envious. Only 8 more weeks til im in india on the beatiful beaches of Goa..... hehe! Think about you a lot, much love big sis x

Me again! - From: Dogs with glow sticks?? I need to put down the pipe!!!
Think yourself lucky that somebody is responding to you! I'm actually showing off, as i now have internet access from home... the first time in 2 years! I'm also feeling incredibly sorry for myself with a stinking hangover and very sore feet. Tara's bday lastnight at the 70's and 80's rollerdisco, vauxhall, funnily enough my pictures look similar to yours.... red hot faces and lots of sweat! Looking like you're going a little pink bro, keep applying that factor 100, and don't forget your feet! Have a bucket or two on me, Samsung with coke, don't risk the Redbull, it isn't what it says on the tin!!

Typical Thais! Doing everything at their own pace, initially a a strange factor to get your head around after living in London all your life, but trust me, it doesn't take long before you adjust to the simplistic, lathargic lifestyle that Thailand has to offer. Kho Chang looks amazing, Jay and i are green with envy looking at your pictures. Keep blogging.... i seem to be the only one writing back? Does that reflect my lack of life? Haha! Tip number 2: Samsong is the devil - drink it slowly and in moderation otherwise you will have a hangover like never before! Buckets are the way forward!!much love xx
