Hello All. Well we made it!!! We are in Laos, but what a journey. A word of advise to anyone travelling from Pai to Laos, even if the company tells you they dont go to Chaing Mai along the way they WILL. Wasnt the greatest of starts to a 3 days journey but we survived the curves. Hello ALL!! Sorry for the delay in update but been busy enjoying myself and havent fancied sitting at the PC. Well we have made our way north to Chang Mai and I am amazed we got here in one peice. Yesterday (Saturday) we decided to check out the Chaturak weekend market, which is just like 30mins out of central Bangkok. nce again the actual journey there was part of the excitment. We thought we would take a taxi rather then took took as it was quite hot and the a/c would of been nice. He literally was mental. They will say any price to get you in the taxi and then negotiate when the car is driving so you cant get out. Luckily enough Im a stubbon person and negotiated us to a happy price. Hello all!!! Well what an adventure. We thought we would wonder over to Kanchanaburi to see the sights it may have. So we booked a minibus too give us a tour. Well I say minibus it was more like a grand prix driver late for a race. I reckon there is no speed limit over here, and if there was, there definatley isnt any speed cameras. Well we had to finally say good bye to the utter relaxation that was Koh Chang. We did get a good farewell with a half moon party the night before our departure, though this did mean only a couple hours of sleep and then a whole days worth of travelling. This is going to be our last blog from Koh Chang, sad to say but there is sooooo much to see!! We are heading off tomorrow morning back to Bangkok, we are both praying that the bus surrvives this time. WHAT A NIGHTMARE...an early start for me and Kim so we would be at Koh San Road for 8am, we told the TukTuk driver to be as reckless as he wanted to get us there on time, and in all fairness we was there with time to spare.
