1st September 2008 Chris	I was a bad monkey! - From: Old town Dali and a Bad Monkey Went to Dali 2 1/2 years ago with my wife. Loved it so much I went back twice moreFirst time w/my wife. We never made it all the way up to the Bad Monkey. (She's not a bar person) Next time I went alone. I never made it to the Bad Monkey, stickig mostly to my hotel room and a bowl and Foreigner St. Just came back from Dali 2 days ago. Tired of the beaten path, I went walking 'round and there on a street I walked halfway up 2 years before, I discovered the Bad Monkey. I loved it so much, that I spent most of my time in 3 days there. The people were great! The food was great! The Music was great!

Im back and wondering a now developed Lost land! umm you forgot to mention how on our 8 mile surface swim when our freakin dive instructor got us lost we were almost SHARK BAIT!!! well, not quite, but the look on your face was priceless when i mentioned that we looked like seals in our black wetsuits swimming along the surface!!! never seen anyone take off that fast in the water before...aaaah good times!

18th February 2007 Ken	missing the friends cafe - From: So no one told you life was gonna be this way... hey from a friends cafe! Man we had some funny times on the river. I am back in Thailand and waiting for my visa for India. Found a really cheap flight on a really sketchy airline and said 'what the fuck'. There were some more fun times in Laos after you left. A little volleyball and lots of buckets. Oh so bad. We eventually boycotted the friends bar. Steve and i did an i got motor bikes and went as far as we could north. Ending up teaching for a few hours at an english school then went with some of the students to a laos festival in the bush. Good times. Ken from Canada
